Hi,

I took a place on rent in Andheri ( East) through a broker last year and had paid him 1.5 months of rent as brokerage. Now I have completed staying in this place for one year and both me as well as the home owner want to continue with the existing arrangement.

However the broker is asking for either paying him brokerage or vacate the house, inspite of home owner asking him not to stay away.

He is repeatedly coming to the house along with some local muscle man, abusing me in the dirtiest words and is threatening me. He is also calling almost every day and threatening to beat me up.

The home owner has advised the broker to not harrass me and stay away, however the broker is still continuing doing the same.

In what legal way can I deal with this menace ?
