Hello Sir/ Madam,
I rented a flat in kharghar locality in navi mumbai for around 11 months. After that we have returned the flat to the owner without any physical damages to the flat. The owner initially agreed to pay us 80% of our security amount and held back the rest (10,000 INR) on the grounds that he will check n find out if there are any damages. Now that he is seen that there are no damages he is saying he will get the whole flat painted and we will have to pay for that. So basically he is telling us that he will not return a penny of the amount he has held back. it is nowhere mentioned in the agreement that he can charge us for painting.
Please help us with this. I am in urgent need of money.
