I have recently moved out of a flat i had rented for 11 months and the owner has held back 10000 Rs from my security deposits on the grounds that the paint looks dirty and he wants to get the whole flat painted. it was nowhere mentioned in the agreement that he can do that. We are a bunch of students and we think that the owner is trying to exploit us.
Please help us out here and tell us what we can do.
