We the ex-servicemen and serving personnel from the Defense Service State the following for your kind attention and necessary action please.

1. One of the ex-servicemen organization registered society Register No.
BLU-S583-2005-2006 Karnataka Act 17 of 1960 (Telephone no.: 08025545776, 08065971083) was stated in the advertised booklet circulated the application form through State Bank of India Branches. It has established its office in 52 D&E Block, Austin Town Main Road, Bangalore 560047. Later shifted to No. 4 Palm Grove Street (Opp. Nanda Ground) and further shifted to Ammhiamma Mudhukrishna Complex, Victorida Palmgrove Area, Residents Welfare Association, #3A/B Block Linden Street, Austin Town II floor, Bangalore 47 without intimation to the members.

2. Trusting the society as genuine approximately 500-600 applicants became member by paying Rs 200/- and applied for 30x40, 40x60 dimension sites at the rate of Rs 450/- per Sq. ft. in March 2005. payments were made through DDs(Rs. 21,600/- for 30x40 Sq. ft. and Rs. 43,200 for 40x60 Sq. ft. sites).

3. (a) Society states that, it has acquired land at Hoskote(Bangalore) then made many changes in location and never shown the land to the members.
(b) Society also has acquired few acres of land at Hejjala village near Wonderla, Mysore Road and named as Indraprasta Defence Colony. It has developed and allotted out as per the society. Also, it is understood that some of the sites are still available for allotment.

4. Mr. Guru Govind, the general Secretary of the Society, run it as one man show. He acts as land developer and not as Secretary of Society. He revised the land price again and again. Mr. Guru Govind, Ph: 9742328538 stated that those who are not interested in the land can withdraw their money. Seeing the fraudulent activities of Mr. Guru Govind many members wanted to withdraw their initial deposits as well as installment paid in Lakhs.

5. We members have made number of visits to the new office requested for refund of the deposits/installments. Even some members are issued with advance dated cheques that werenot through for non-availability of fund in society account as stated by bank.

6. Presently, the office remains closed, telephone not working, Mr. Guru Govind has switched of his mobile. Mr. Ningappa, President of Society is out of reach in his mobile and so on. Some of the letters issued by the society will be forwarded to you for your reference if needed.
7. Most of the service personnel are transferred out and very few ex–servicemen are available in Bangalore. Taking this advantage the fraudulent Society Secretary/Developer enjoys the benefits. Members paid the installment and not allotted land are mentally depressed.
