Hi,

I Amitabh Mohanty,a resident of Greenfields ,andheri east had
some fraud online transactions on three of my credit cards on 23rd
march 2011.Immediately ,I blocked all my cards but by that time
already transactions worth Rs 1.21Lakhs had been done.I had not
disclosed the password details to anyone.I approached the bank,sent
them the dispute forms.The bank authorities told me to book a police
complaint as it would help me more.Since,my area comes under MIDC
police station, I went there to lodge a fomal complaint with all the
necessary documents.Those guys told me since this is a cyber crime I
need to approach the cyber crime cell.I went to Commisoner offce at
Fort,and there I was informed that I should first compalin at nearest
police station first(i.e MIDC station) and then the case would come to
them.I again moved back to MIDc and those guys were not at all
interested to lodge comaplin.they agai told me to report to BKC cyber
crime cell.I went to BKC cell,and there the same thing was told to me
that I need to report the incident first at MIDC.It been about a month
that I am unable to lodge a complain in police station and I have lost
all hope.I have gone to MIDC P.S nearly a dozen times,ctrying to
convince them but everything went in vain.At times,i was even told
that I have made the transaction and since I am not interested to pay
the bill I have come to lodge a false complain.

Now the bank guys have sent their statement and want me to pay all the
dues.I assure you that You just have a check on all my credit card
history,you would see that I have never been a credit card payment
defaulter ever.I dont know what to do next ,nor I am getting any help
from any side.

Is this what Mumbai Police is all about??

Hi Amitabh Considering your complaint mentioned above I would like to advise you that Police will not listen to you unless you tighten the noose around their neck i.e. you must send a legal notice to the concerned police stations and also to a Cyber Cell. File a Private Complaint in the MM Court if the Police does not listen even after sending legal notices as mentioned above. hi sir.i m a serving officer in the indian army.recently i purchased a land in allahabad and ensured it to the best of my capabilities that all legal aspects were looked into.i had purchased the land from mr s k mishra who had further purchased it from mr rk mehrotra in 1993.however as soon as i had started construction of the house i recieved a ltter from sdms office directing me to stop the construction.the reason given was that mr rk mehrotra had not taken permission of the DM in 1993 once he purchased the land fromn a sheduled caste as per the leand laws at that time. now we ass a normal public cannot look into so many minute detalis.also if succh was the case why did their office get the registry done.desite speakin to various civil dignitoires their response is still awaited.this is resulting in not only to the loss of my hardd earned money but also mentally..plz guide me as to what i can do.filing a suit wont be a god idea becoz in our country the cases go on and the courts decision keps on pending and that ways i will never get back my money...awaitin a reply...regardzzz
