The Ministry of Road Transport, Govt of Karnataka newly made an amendment in the RTO rule that all the central govt employees including bankers those who are transfered to karnataka from other states haveing vehicle must pay lifetime time roadtax instead of annual road tax eventhough they paid life tax in the concerned state.
It is absolutely looting of innocent people. How can people pay such a huge amount of money(lifetime roadtax) for a single vehicle in each state ? Govt not only doing injustice to the people but plundering cruelly also.
I am having a car MARUTI ASTAR KA 20 P 1143 with the fecility of annual payment of Road Tax . Now I will be transferred to northern states shortly. Now Superintendents , Clerks and Asst RTO of UDUPI RTO office all are forceing me to pay life tax only which costs Rs 48,652.00 .Why and how should we pay such a huge amount of money unnecesserilly If the other states also will do in the same way what will we do ?
Please aswer me.
