I am from Maharashtra, sangli district.village name -Dudhgaon.
In our village 5yrs ago Centarl GOVTS. project was started as Land sub surface drainage(underground) it was an Trial project in Maharashtra, In this project Centarl govt 60%, State Govt 20% and benificiery farmers 20% was constitade. Totaly projects amount was decided by central Govt. was an 6.40crorers(Six crore and fourty lakhs only).This project under by Water consergation Dept. of Maharashtra and Minery erigation loacal sector divison Sangli.
This project was not performed as shown in project report.In this project IS 9271:2004 UPC Single wolve corrugated and non-perpurated pipes was used but that pipes was very lowar quality.and the depth and level of pipes was an unformated type . Because of this reason pipes was chock-uped and seline sodic water was stoped to flow in to drainage , and because this more than 1100Hectors land become an seline sodic land.
This failed project was seen by Lokasabha Sadasya Mr.Raju Shetti,And we was made an written complaints agianst this failuer project by Mr.Anna Hajare Pranit BHrashtachar Virodhi Jan Andolan Branch-Dudhgaon Adhakshya- Mr.Arun Jadhav (mo. no. 09326841369,09403782720)-to Dr.R.M.Mishra Deputy Insepector General Land Resources Dept.
