The corportion of chennai at regular intervals are laying the pavements in many areas but unfortunately these pavements are so wide and are misused for parking and by vendors.thus forcing the public to take to the streets at the
risk of being knocked down.why do you need 8ft to 10 ft pavements is not a 2.5 ft
pavement sufficient. By proving such large pavements you are cutting down the
road width and encouraging encroachments.there should be some standards
while laying the pavements.
