We have applied for water connection in the year September 2010 and to get the water connection we need to cut Tar road. While awarding the tender, they have not made any provision for water connection and now after completing 18 months, they are not allowing us to cut the TAR road. Verbally, they have confirmed that the sanction / road cutting permit will be done in March 1st Week, 2011. The problem for not allowing is not with the Senior Exective Engineers, but the problem with division office at VArkala. Now they are dragging this like anything and delaying. Your intervene is highly required.

We request you to kindly interevene and give us the sanction.

Back ground

The Tar Road (Njekkad - Panayara Road) was completed by NH wing of State in the month August 2009. and after one year they should allow / sanction their permission to cut the road across for water connection. Now one year 6 months completed. The NH wing has handed over full authority to PWD and PWD has to execute the work.sanction for cutting the road after one year from the date of completion i.e. September 2010. Verbally informed of sanctioning this in the in First week of March 2011.

Property Location:-

The property is located in Chemmaruthy Grama Panchayat Panayara P.O., chirayin keezhu taluka, under Varkala block, thiruvananthapuram. Survey no. 299/6. Ward 10.

Application Status : -

File was submitted in the first / second week of September 2010 at the Attingal Division. Still pending for approval. Head of Attingal Sub Division has informed us that Exe. Eng has to give the sanction / permission for tar cutting.

Why we opted for Water Connection?

Reasons :

1) The said property admeasuring 10 cents (ancestral property) inherited from his parents. Digging of well or bore well is not feasible. It is very expensive.

2. Mr. Suresan, whose plot is adjascent to our plot had dug up 8 wells and finally he discovered water. This was done in 10 years ago and this was affordable while during those periods.

3. Place is very rocky appx. 4 ft. from the ground level.

4. Our constraint budget.

5. Water well is almost dry during summer.
