This is regarding bookadda.com site. I ordered a book on 29 April on 2 May they told me that money will be refunded to me since book is not available. But I never received my money back

The transaction reference is 1285574153489. I have not received any update and today is 12th Day. They have mentioned on the portal that they send books in 3-4 days but i have not received the book even calling their customer care and writing a mail to them. I am utterly frustrated with BookAdda.com. Please help me in this.

How can we make sure that the website is not a fake website

I had place an order for two books with BookAdda.com,(Order Reference No.: 1291914792413) for two books, and had issued a cheque drawn on SBM for Rs.404.
The two books ordered were
1. Entrepreneurship Development by K Ramachandran
2. From Campus to Corporate by K K Ramachandran, K K Karthick

I have received only one book as per my order which is
From Campus to Corporate by K K Ramachandran, K K KarthicK) delivered to me.
The other book "Entrepreneurship Development by K Ramachandran" has not been delivered. Instead a wrong book by the title "The Enterprise and Scrum" has been shipped.
I have already complained about this matter, but there has been no response.

The two books ordered were
1. Learning Facebook Application Development Price:Rs.265.00
2. BEGINNING ANDROID by MARK L. MURPHY Price:Rs.408.00

I have received only one book as per my order which is ' Learning Facebook Application Development' delivered to me.
The other book "BEGINNING ANDROID by MARK L. MURPHY" has not been delivered.

ordered two books from bookadda on 3/09/2011, transaction ref-1316999464517, on their site they told me it will take 1-4 working days, then by their policy sum1 called me n confirmed my order n told me 2 more working days, when i called them today they are saying 5days more....

Bad part about this is i was just waiting for these ppl n culdnt go out thinking tht anytime it will cum as i m staying alone. NOW I HAD TO CANCEL MY ORDER AFTER WASTING MY TIME.

Guys pls check all details n time requirment for the same before placing any order.

I ordered a book from bookaadda after seeing that the particular book was available with them and which showed confirmed delivery in 4-5 days. After one week of non delivery I enquired from their customer care and was told that the book is not available with them and that they have placed indent with their vendor. They also promised that the book will be delivered to me within one week. I again enquired after ten days and I got the same reply. I have cancelled the order now and have asked for refund. Lets hope they do so.
