i have paid advance tax of RS 23000/= in my bank on 15-9-2009 for ass year 2010-11, i.e bank of baroda cuffe parade branch BSR code 0200695. my bank has made a mistake at their end, instead of giving credit in my favour they have given credit for RS 23000 in favour of my husband. now the bank claims that it is not possible for them to reverse the entry and give credit for advance tax in my favour as they are not authorised to do so.therefore i request everybody to guide me the process through which i can revert this entry and take credit for advance tax ..i have been to nsdl they said go to ITO officer and commissinor of income tax but even they said we can not do anything you have to pay again advance tax..if anybody have got any idea please let me now on my email SBJADHWANI@GMAIL.COM

The above branch of sbi has failed to file form 26 Q . As a result my tax refund for the year
2007-2009 is not yet processed .I request the biggest bank of the country to look into the matter and rectify the mistake at earliest possible.
