I have purchased 3 Apollo tyres on 02/04/2010 with one year guarntee. On 16/05/2010 i found there is a boil in the tyre. When approached the retailer, he refused to exchange and said need to contact company. I went to company and there was no engineer to check the tyre. After running after them for two days, I have managed to contact their engineer. The enginner simply reject the tyre by saying that there is cut inside and this is not the manufacturing fault and we cannot replace it, CLAIM RECEIPT # 2070700226.
May I know what is the quality of the tyre that it got a cut inside just a months time. And How Would I know that it was not the manufacturing fault as I don't find any mark outside the tyre.
It seems that the company is exploiting the lack of knowledge and awareness of the consumer and just making money by selling sub standard products.
Why do they provide the guarntee with twicky conditions which they can adjust as per their wish.
