I bough used car from a doctor thro' laxmi motors, patna , the sale & purchase agent. When i went for sevicing in hundai show room , to our surprise, we found thro' service record that the tachometer was reset to 36ooo agaisnt actual run of 96000. The owner though reputed professional, we did not went for elaborate checking. We have talked to the agent & owner, who assured us to take the car back after paying us the selling amount. Pl suggest what to do in this regard.

Even I am facing the same problem. I have purchased Verna which showed 50000 kms and when I serviced the vehicle in the Hyundai showroom they have the vehicle history and said that the Vehicle ran for more than 2 lakhs kilometers. Immediately I have called the second showroom guys where I have purchased and they said that I can check any other vehicle and exchange the vehicle. Finally I have selected the other car to swap but they refused to swap after I selected the other car. They said that I have to pay full amount for the car which I have selected second time and leave the first car with them, they will pay me back my money after they sell this car to someone else. Finally I have left the car with them and I am waiting for them to pay me back my money. Please let me know how you solved your issue and would be grateful if you /someone could suggest me the way to get back my money from them.
