The Regional Head/Customer relation Manager/ Head Consumer Cell/ Marketing Head, Maruti Suzuki India Limited Date- 25-06-2010 Sir/Madam, Sub- Complaint against Maruti SUZUKI and Dealer (Case Ref. No.- 4844490519) I had booked a car- Maruti Swift Dzire (Silky Silver VXI) on 18-03-2010 (Receipt No.- 4637, Allot No.- 0895-D-L00766, Cheque No- 005401, Union Bank of India, Pahargang, Rs25000/-). I was promised to deliver the car within 2 months of booking. The loan of Rs 2.5 lakhs was sanctioned by 27 May,2010 (Can be verified from HDFC bank associated with Competent Lajpat Nagar). We were promised to get the delivery on 29 May. We visited the showroom and the Manager Mr MM Joshi informed that they do not have any stock still we need to wait for 2-3 months. The loan is valid for 1 month and they were asking to wait for another 2 months or cancel the booking (costumer harassment started right from here). After constantly requesting he agreed to deliver the car in between 6-10 june. He gave the case to Mr Pawan ass. Manager (Mob no- 9811478982) who asked us to complete the formalities (payment draft and other papers) on priority. Since 6th June I have been constantly following up with Mr Pawan to get the delivery, every time I call, I have to hear –Sir sorry we don’t have the stock, we have sent your car demand to maruti etc. He always tries to avoid/ignore our call and most of the times says that “I will call back in 10 minutes”, and never calls back. Nobody in Competent is giving me present status of my booking, the behaviour of the staff is very ignorant, harsh and pathetic. They simply say if you can’t wait you can cancel the booking (Very harshly and filled with attitude). We have landed in a situation of begging for our car rather purchasing (Matter of shame for Maruti). We had a telephonic conversation with Mr MM Joshi, Manager competent lajpat nagar on 22-06-2010 and he informed us that Maruti Suzuki India is close for a week due to records maintenance and there will be no delivery of vehicles from 21-06-2010 to 27-06-2010. I made a general telephonic enquiry (Dated- 24-06-2010 sales executive Mr. Dinesh) at competent Lajpat nagar to buy a new car and they assured me that on priority they can deliver the vehicle within 2 months from the date of booking. All this clearly shows that Maruti is also encouraging black marketing along with the dealers and taking undue advantage of the reliability of the name MARUTI by creating market monopoly. There has been an increase of road tax in early june2010 and there are news of further increment of the cars prices from july, 2010 onwards. I request you to kindly answer me on the following points:- 1) I request you to kindly clarify whether Maruti can fulfil my demand of the said car. If yes please specify the date till when, If no let me know so that I can cancel my booking. 2) Why Maruti is involving dealers to take booking which encourages black marketing (which is maximum during marriage season). Why there is no centralized system of booking from Maruti to have a transparency. 3) Why should the costumers bear the increment in prices in the delay period so called waiting caused by either the dealers or by the company or by the combined strategy of both? 4) I want to know the authenticity of the statement of Mr MM Sharma- “Maruti Suzuki India is close for a week due to records maintenance and there will be no delivery of vehicles from 21-06-2010 to 27-06-2010”. Being a Maruti costumer from past 12 years I was having a faith which is now all shattered as I feel that Maruti is fluttering on its sales figures of May 2010 and are now least concern on costumer relationship and satisfaction. Respected Sir,
I had a Wagonr Mh04cj6026. on 18th of June after servicing my car coming back to home we just decided to see a new kseries wagonr and went to Prakash Auto Koan gaon Kalyan. When we saw the new car we dedecided to to take that but before that i wanted to sold a old car and Mr Mangesh , who is looking after the old car saling saw the car and offered us Rs 205,000/- for the same. As per our expectation we were getting the price we decided to sold it but while talking with them we have told them that i have taken a loan from Kotak Mahindr and wanted to foreclose the same. At that time the amount of loan was Rs. 131,000/- and we tolad them that the remaining amout of my car will be transfer to a new car booking amount. for this they have agreed and we went back. on 19th of June Mr. Mangesh and Mr Talreja from Ulhasnagar branch came to our place and took my car as well as papers and told us that on Monday21st of June, 2010 they will forclose my loan. but sry to say this they havent didi that. On 24th June, 2010, I went for the booking the car , Mr Sanjeev Choudhary asked me for some booking amount when i asked them about the foreclosing amount they were unable to answer coz till that date my foreclosing was not done. Then also I booked a new Kseries WagonR car form prakash Auto.and asked for the delivery on 4th of July at that time they assured me about the same but now they are not sure that on 8th also they will be able to give me my new car, For this i had a word with Mr. Pathak from Ulhasnagar Branch, who is a G.M. but even he is not assuring me taht he will be able to give me a car on 8th of July. And when I sold my old car it has a macwheel and Mr mangesh assured me that when they will give me a delivery of new car thye will give teflon coating and antirust coating to my car and now these people are not agreeing for the same . Mr Ahuja who is the MD of Prakash Auto never takecare of their custimers and on delivery he give nothing extra to them . When i purchased my 1st care from Vitesse they gave me a very nice treatment and even in Navneet Motors at Thane, but i am really sorry to say that over hre in Prakash Auto no good treatment is given by them,. So this is my humble requwst to you that please look after this matter very seriously and see to it that i will get my car on 8th of July,2010. Hoping for the good responce. Thanking you. To The Service division Maruti Suzuki India Limited Palam Gurgaon Road GURGAON – 122 015 Haryana State Email : Maruti Suzuki company manufactures the best selling cars in India Sir, Sub : Complaint on the dealer – reg. ----------------------------------------- I have purchased a Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire Petrol on 18th July 2008 through your dealer M/s. ABT Maruti, Trichy-Madras Trunk Road, Mambalachalai, Tiruchirappalli – 620 005. Hitherto there was absolutely no problem whatsoever in the performance of the vehicle. The car met with an accident on 2nd July 2010 on the Tiruchy – Dindugul Highway approximately 10 KMs. before Manapparai when I was traveling from Manapparai to Tiruchy. I drove the car at around 70 KMs. speed and suddenly the truck going on the front applied the brake and one of the protruding part of the truck touched the front wind shield of the card and the wind shield broke and there was also minor bruises on the front of the vehicle. I drove the vehicle straightaway to M/s. ABT Maruti, Mambalachalai, Tiruchirappalli-620 005 for service. I was informed that the wind shield has to be replaced as well as minor tinkering work has to be done. I took their advice to go for the insurance as well since the vehicle was insured with Bajaj Alliance. Except replacing of the wind shield, there was no major problem and I found that there was an inordinate delay in delivering the vehicle on 10.07.2010. I was not available on that day and therefore the vehicle was delivered at my door steps. When I reached home at around 9.00 PM, I found that the interior of the car was abused like anything due to mishandling of the vehicle by the dealer. Since the wind shield was broken and the glass pane was still intact, when I drove the vehicle to ABT Maruti …..2/- - 2 - there was no damage to the interior of the car. To the shock and dismay when the vehicle was delivered, I found the interior of the vehicle just above the meter panel and the air conditioner vent tempered and abused to such an extent that it look ugly. The interior was abused like anything due to mishandling at the time of replacement of the wind shield. I did not went to ABT Maruti to take delivery of the vehicle, but it was delivered at my door step when I was absent and therefore I could not enquire at ABT Maruti. Today being the Sunday, I was not able to meet the dealer directly. I am of the view that had the vehicle was handled properly, the abuse of the interior could have been averted. I apprehend that the value of the car had been drastically reduced and it also does not augur well for one to drive the vehicle with such an interior. One of the reasons I went to Maruti is its quality and after sales service. I am perplexed when very little care was taken during the replacement of the wind shield and the prompt and good service took a severe beating. Kindly enquire and do the needful. I bought a car from Millenium Mobility last year in October. At the time of purchase the servie was good. However, when my car went in for first servicing, the service was very bad. I complained to the Managers several times, called the owner of Millennium Mobility and left messages for him to call me. To date I have not had any response from the dealer. Moreover, I also wrote complaint to Maruti Yuzuki directly when they asked for a feedback. Todate again, I have not had any response from them either.
Yes their product may be good but after sales service really sucks big time. |

my self chintan purohit i booked one alto lxi bsiv /supirior white car with the name of my mother Mrs. jayshreeben gopaldas purohit i paid booking amount rs.5000/- at amar cars pvt.ltd on 20/6/2010 vadodara india gujarat the advance paid by cheque cheque no is 816203 than i paid rs 49000/- cheque no 816204 another rs 49000/- cheque no 816205 than i give my car maruti 800 japan model they give me price rs 14000/- at 7th of july i cancelled a car on 27/7/2010 they gave me a refund amount rs 1,09,250.so my outstanding amount rs 7750/- now they told me you cancelled a car that's why our charges rs 5250/- and now u get on rs 11,500/- because u cancelled a car.this is not genuine reason to give back my money.you just please inform them don't do this type of activity. i am sending you my receipt no rec 10002742 coustomer id I104170996 |

I had purchaced a Maruti swift lxi on 23 june 2010 from automotive pvt ltd navi mumbai.On taking possession i noticed dampness in the dicky space and the back seat flooring.After few days since it was
raining i saw some more water in the dicky .Ibought this to the notice of automotive at the 1 free service.They said nothing about it On 23 and 24 of july due to heavy rains there was lot of water in my dicky and back seat flooring.This i showed automotive who said they will look into the matter and took my car on 26 july. The matter is still not solved. I still have water seeping in. Can maruti udyog intervene and get thismatter solved. Ihad an earlier wagon r and used it for 7 years.It never gave me any problem which is why i opted for a maruti car. I hope my faith in maruti is restored Waiting 4 a reply soon. Dr.Treville pereira |

I HAD BOOKED A SWIFT LXI ON 19/07/10,
IT WAS ASSURED TO ME AT THE TIME OF BOOKING THAT DELIVERY WILL BE MADE IN 4-6 WEEKS AND NOT BEYOND THAT. NOW AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY THE COMPANY IS SAYING THAT DELIVERY WILL BE MADE IN MONTH OF SEPTEMBER,NOT BEFORE THAT. ON CONTACTING SENIOR EXECUTIVE- THE REPLY I GOT WAS SHOCKING, I WAS TOLD TO CANCEL THE BOOKING AND TRY AT SOME OTHER OUTLET,OR IF CAN PAY EXTRA/PREMIUM -THEN DELIVERY CAN BE MADE. ON ASKING ABOUT REASON FOR DELAY-I WAS ASKED TO LEAVE, WAS TOLD IF WE WILL GET CAR,WE WILL INFORM YOU. THIS IS NOT EXCEPTED AND I FEEL HARASSED. I AM SUFFERING NOW,AS HAD COMMITMENT FURHTER, NOW COMPLETE MY PLANNING IS DISTURBED BECAUSE OF THIS DELAY IN DELIVERY. With due regards it is submitted that I have purchase Maruti Wagon-R LXI DUO BSIII from Maruti Show Room Named SB CAR Govind Nagar Kanpur on 7th July'2010. I have also insured my car through your dealer from ICICI Lombard Motor Insurance Co. LTD. But unfortunately on 29th Aug. 2010 I have faced a minor accident and due to this Bumper & Front both wheels of my car got damaged. I have brought my car at SB Car work shop on 29/08/2010 they insured me they will do their best. After 12days they phoned me to pick up my car. I went to show room &have shocked to see my car because neither they had replaced damaged bumper nor they repair wheels. I humbly asked reason behind this. They rudely answered me your bumpers claim not passed by insurance company regarding wheels they answered without payment it could not be repaired. Sir I want to say that the claim is not a matter but the behavior of concerned person to me was very painful under the umbrella of Maruti India Ltd. Because personally I feel that the Maruti is the name of trust. I also feel that behind this a very tactful game is playing between Dealer & Insurance Company for their own interest. Lastly I urged that kindly look into the matter and do needful for the name of Maruti. Thanks. I purchased a maruti alto lxi car from Navneet Motors , Sirohi and issued cheques worth Rs. Three lac twenty thousands on 11th July 2010. At that time I was promised a discount of Rs.15000=00 on the show room cost.At that time I was promised Some accessories as complimentary gifts.When I asked for the bill, i was told that they will give it to me after two days. After my long persuasion I was handed over a invoice No.50490-AR4SG dated 12/7/2010 of Nvaneet Motors, Udaipur, For Rs 2,80014.
1. Did not give promised and advertised discount of Rs 15000=00. 2. The invoice was not from Navaneet Motors, SIROHI. as advertised in papers, TV advertisement, and brochure circulated. by the company. The invoice issued to me shows that the jurisdiction for disputed subject will be Udaipur and not Sirohi(Rajasthan) 3.The accessories supplied are not standard maruti accessories but local market purchased items, They were promised to be issued complimentary but exorbitantly charged though counter sale retail invoice. This Unauthorized Navneet Motors SIROHI (Rajasthan ), is masquerading as a SALES and SERVICE Dealer for Maruti Suzuki, While it is only a unregistered service outlet, Cheating and overcharging customer without providing promised and mendetory services Requested to call of this bluff, Balbeer Mardia |

MY ? is with in 1 & 1/2 yr twice the clutch has been replaced is this not the manufactring fault. This car has been driven only ofr 12000 kms & single hand with the MUMBAI City. This is regarding service given by Amar Cars , who is authorised dealer in Vadodara,Gujrat.
I am having Zen Estilo car ( MH 20 AY 868) ,which was damaged in acident during transportation by Agarwal Packers and Movers. After submiting the car to Amar cars , he didn't t inspect the acidient car thoroughly. He tooks two month to complete the work ( Replacement of back right side door, back bumper and denting painting on dicky.) I paid Rs. 39719/- as per the invoice. But when i inpected the car immediatley after delivery , there were list of 18 jobs pending whcih was not attended by Amar cars executive. During the servicing he had not at all taken the care of care , because i could find lot of paint , spray of paint of the body of car and aldo denting / damage to other part of car. Then again I have given back the car for re correction ( to complete thew pending 18 activities ) and he tooks 9 days. On 9th day , at the time of delivery he keep me awaited for 30 min and handover the Car without taken the trial. Now car couden't self start and giving lot of gers during running. purchased maruti alto lxi from kiran motors, chhani road, baroda on 22/09/10. at that time there was a scheme of getting mga accessories worth rs. 9000/- free along with the car. since last more that one month i have not got complete accessories not i have been give number or RTO payment slip. on enquiring for accessories i have always got the answer that it is out of stock. if this is the situation then please stop the process for giving free accessories or stop manufacturing cars instead of bluffing the customers.
very poor service in comparison to HYUNDAI AND CHERVELOT. will suggest to relavites and friends also that not to go for maruti in future also as they cannot provide the service. manish 9879900806 9727992212 |

I took my swift LXi to competent motors, ghazipur on 12.10.10. with the complain of noise in the suspension. This is the 5th time since I had to visit the workshop with the same complain. On both the occasion the brakes had been checked and necessary parts have been replaced. But the compalin could not be resolved. My Car has just done 50200 kms since 28th MAY 2008 (date of purchase). I called up the customer service helpdesk on 12.11.10 with the complains at gurgaon and and requested them to rectify the problem and they have assured me to send their representative accordingly on 14.11.10. But my problem is still i have already spent so many time for the same job which did not solve my problem …..??

We have purchased an Alto Lxi on 21/8/10 that means hardly 2 months ago n found out that 2 out of 5 tyres are found defective with pin holes n thereby leakage in it.
Patel Motors is not providing adequate help n replacement even though the product is within warranty period. Also the attitude of the agents is not proper n they are not responding properly. Winner Dairy Pvt.Ltd Pondicherry We have bought Swift VDI from INDUS MOTORS,KATTUPAKKAM,CHENNAI.before one month.Now I come to my problem. After doing temporary registration from Chennai we are yet to receive VAT certificate from your showroom which is insisted by our RTO for permanant registration.Inspite of repeated phone calls and messages we have not yet received the same,while the other dealers in chennai give on the same day of purchase failing which before one week.From sales they diverted to the accounts department One Mr.Ramesh Accts.manager .he is also not giving proper response.Even after making several phone calls he always says he will send it which is not done till now.This evening When one of the executives who attened my call says that they will not take out station car order do to this problem which is not the answer when i have already taken and am the sufferer without registering my car.I go out of station often and due to this problem it is not possible.If your people are so much irresposible what is to be done.When other company car dealers cooperate with the customer why can't your dealer.Its very dissappointment beacuse I have always liked your product and recommended my friend. In last month itself my friend circle have purchsed more than 6cars in which one of my freinds Mrs.Valsa Daina who purcashed the same Swift VDI before 10 days is also suffering the same problem from the same dealer. Hope you understand my problem and help accordingly. |
