Sir,
I hereby express my great displeasure at the intentional and inordinate delay caused for repair of my vehicle in Mukesh Hyundai, Guwahati. It may be mentioned here that my Getz car No. AS 01 AD 6490 was handed over to Mukesh Hyundai, Guwahati , on 3rd May 2010 for repair after an accident. I had insurance from Bajaj Allianz and the claim was registered on 3rd May 2010(ref claim No. OC-11-2405-1808-0000021).
But even after lapse of one month, my vehicle has not yet been repaired in spite of my repeated visit to the workshop and contact with the ground staff. I would like to give you a chronological data of the work done as viewed by me as follows:
May 3 - vehicle is bought to the workshop and insurance claim registered
May 4 - dismantling of damaged part partially done.
May 5 - Do
May 6 - dismantling of engine done (downloading of engine)
May 7 - Do
May 8 - no work
May 9 - no work
May 10 - no work
May 11 - no work
May 12 - no work
May 13 - no work
May 14 - no work
May 15 - job card prepared, work started
May 16 till date- job done in fits and starts. What irks me most is that when i interact with the supervisor Mr G Singh, he appears to be non-informative and is never happy with my queries. Any query from me was treated as interference by the said supervisor. Ultimately i had to bring the matter to the notice of the GM, Sri S. Modi on the 15th of May. Since then i have been in touch frequently with the GM, but he also appears not to be in control of the workshop employees. Everything is being done in a hush-hush way and i am totally kept in the dark as to what repair is being done. I feel there is a nexus between the workshop superior (and mechanics) with the store keeper. One day I was told that the engine is intact and no damage has been done. After 3-4 days I was told the engine has been sent for repair. I am very worried that this nexus of superior /mechanics /store keeper will put me in the red. I am also worried why the vehicle has been intentionally delayed in repair. This is my 3rd Hyundai vehicle, AS 01 S 0568 Santro Zing purchased in 2004 and AS 01 AN 0172 i10 purchased in 2010. I expect some loyalty from you. I would request you to kindly look into the matter and ensure that I receive my vehicle fully repaired at the earliest. It is already too late.
Thanking you in anticipation.
Yours faithfully
