Arrow Complaint against tata motors - indigo manza

1. I am a serving defence officer in Indian Navy. I purchased a new vehicle Tata indigo manza aura quadrajet on 17 june 2010 from metro motors ambala.

2. On 20 June 2010, While driving my new vehicle from chandigarh to mumbai my car's air conditioning system broke down at gwalior and the headlights of the car went bad. Being middle of the night and a sunday i had to stay at gwalior on 20 june 2010.

3. On 21 June 2010 at 0930 hrs, i approached AS Motors at gwalior (Tata Authorised Service Station) and it was observed that the 5 A Fuse of the headlamp system had blown off. In addition the defect of the air conditioning system is attributed to the loose pipeline joints and the faulty compressor resulting in the leakage of the AC gas. The dealer promised that the vehicle will be ready by evening of 21 Jun 2010.

4. To my shock the workshop manager informed me at 06:00 pm that the compressor fitted ex dealer stock was also found to be faulty and therefore it will take another 10-15 days for my car to get air conditioned once again.

5. i would like to bring to light the following:
a) the parts fitted in new tata cars are sub standard and faulty and quality assurance team along with PDI team has failed in carrying their duties responsibly
b) the spare parts supplied to the dealers are not tested prior putting them in demand and supply chain.

6. For the trouble caused to me as a reward of buying a tata car, it is my intention to bring to the notice of public that QA/QC checks at Tata Motors is questionable to a large extent and demand a compensation of Rs 50000/- from Tata motors for not delivering a quality product to me.

Thumbs down complaint against tata indigo manza

I m mrs. sunita sawant from kalyan we buyed a tata indigo manza qudrajeet aua dated 22/04/2010 from BALAJI CAR KALYAN. my complaints are as follows.

1) i booked the car on 11th feb. 2010 (indigo manza qudrajeet aura) but at the time of dilivery on 21st of april 2010 to see the color of the car they showed us indigo manza qudrajeet. at that time we have paid the full amount of the car indigo manza qudrajeet aura. after a very long and hectic day the delar appologised and gave us the qudrajeet aura.

2) on 23rd of april 2010 immdietly the next day of dilivery the bluetooth of the car was not working and even the whole set of seat bealt was brooken and it fell down.

3) on 19th of june 2010 we gave the car for servesing in morning at 9.30am the delar called us at 5.00pm to take the dilivery of the car and promised to solve all the problems. but when we reached there at 7.00pm the car was in the same condition as it in the morning. when we asked them they told because of too much work load we can't service your car. and after that at 7.30pm we took the car as it was.

4) on 9th july 2010 when my husband (MR SAWANT) was travelling the from kalyan to mahad, on the way in between indapur and maangaon goa road the engine of the stoped working and the car stoped as it was on the highway. after that my husband called the delar from where purchased the car (BALAJI CARS KALYAN) they told him to call the toll free number and then he called the tollfree number there they told to call tata motor pune,then he called the tata motor pune, there they again told to call tata motors of mahad. where they rudely told that it was there lunch time and we have to wait for the lunch time to get over this was told at 1pm. after that till 4pm no one came at that place to attend him, my husband was standing there on the road.

Till now we have used many cars but such care less and irresponssible towards their work we have seen for the 1st time. and henceforth we will not reccomde any one to buy any car tata. these was our worst experince till now.

Angry Dont by a TATA Indigo Manza

i purchased new TATA Manza From Meerut,Shree Vasu Automobile. after Five dayes i found that cap of Brek oil pot is missing,some screw form engine thermal seat were missing. After 22 day and just770 Km I found Air Blower of AC is not working .
i report today to company Mr. tyagi checked my car after a long request and said you have to drop the vehicle for 3 day. i am feeling cheated from TATA.
Sales Agent at the time of sale tell me the millage 16 to 20, but millage is 10.5 /15 in local/high way.
Wiper Blade Not Working Well .
Suspensions sounding
very bed central locking buttons
This is my Hard Luck I use TATA Product.

Default Comments on complaints on Manza

I am having Diesel, Aura+. The design is very good. The mileages are 17.01 km/litre in high way with A/c measured fill to fill by observing the meniscus of Diesel at inlet after venting the air. This was my consistent mileage in high way from Tiruchy to Tirunelveli. I drove the car from LOW kmph to 170 kmph depends on road condition and in day time and return night time. The head light alone is to be lifted or power to be enhanced. The acoustic insulation is good and there will not be any fatigue for the passengers inside. In city use, I am getting 15.85 kmph with A/C. So far, I never swithced off the A/c. In any machine, any mechanical problem comes it can be attended by warrantee. I also reported some problems, and in my opinion, all the service people in VST are highly co operative and listen to problem and attend it with full interest and explain all. Hence service wise, we can never complaint. When I go through the net I found that the many of the complaints made here is highly frivolous. I found one day, a man was shouting that the tubeless tyre is waste as it got puncture. The puncture will happen for any tyre. Likewise people are commenting as they like without realizing the real. Hence the 90 HP Engined manza is very good and a crown in Indian design. Hence, appreciations for design engineer for producing such spacious car. The ergonomics, space, smoothness in gear shifting, trunk space and large opening in trunk and steering smoothness due to power steering all are good. The engine behaviour in 2nd gear is superb. I ****ysed all the cars and purchased, it is worth buying this car than any other cars of same capacity. A ninety HP engine with this mileage is very good. I have given my cell number, any clarification can be obtained from me at any time as I am enjoying the Manza-Aura+.

Default Complaint against Tata Motors authorised service centre

I had bought an Indigo Manza (Safire) from M/s Kraft Auto, Bokaro Steel City on 24.02.2010.
I had taken it to their service station on 20.08.2010 for the 2nd free service. This was after having booked for the same on phone on 19.08.2010(with their service manager), in which I had explained problems faced by me. Being a working day I had taken leave from work just for this free service.
After being made to wait for the whole day (9.30 am to 4.30pm) I was finally told that the paint job(one of my problems) could not be done. All other jobs were over by 1 pm.
I had certainly not expected such unprofessional and callous approach from a Tata Motors authorised service centre.
Now I'am convinced that I have made a mistake in having chosen a Tata Motors product

Default Third time break fail in Manza

I have purchased Manza on 9.07.2010. Up to 3.09.2010 I face three time a problem of break fail in this period. I was taken the car from service on confidance of work manager statement . He asssure me that I will never face this type of seroious problem but on 3.09.2010 it was repeated. god saave me 3 time. Inspite of all dealer is asking to me for taking chance for fourth time. Should I take it? I am in hyper tension and feel cheated from tata.

Default Tat Manza Trouble

Hi, I bought Manza Aura+ - Quadrajet in Feb'10. The car persay is good, except, I still have not got any clarification as regards to the seepage of water in the trunk. Since I drive in the city, and rarely open the trunk, the trunk stays closed for days at times. I have visited the authorized service center quite a few times for this, and have left the car for them to have a look and rectify the same. Still they have not been able to rectify the problem and I need to clean up the trunk from time to time. Due to the seepage the lining material provided has gone bad.

Need to get proper explanation as regards to this and they should replace the inner lining in the trunk for free. Suggest that Tata Motors do take a hard look at their quality process before launching a new vehicle. Launching a new model with lot of media hype is easy, it is only that once the car is sold, catering to the complaints becomes difficult. Till such time there is no data/feedback for that model.

Default hello some suggestion

i have been hearing lots of complaints being unattended by service centres of Tata. This generates lot of hostility among patriotic customers even though the product is good. it is suggested that the complaints be pooled and audited at the highest level ( corporate level) to speedily process all complaints. this we hope will nullify the otherwise wonderful organisation which tatas really are.

Default Jerking n sudden breakdown.

Currently m stuck here at deccan pune... The thing is that .. Since the past few kilometers... Our car started jerking ... N here we are... At deccan stuck in the midnight.
We are waiting for the engineer.. N just hope the problem gets sorted out immidiately .. Fingers crossed.
itz been past an hour.. The engineer ...

Default Substandard Product from TATA....the Tata Indigo Manza

I bought a BS4 version Quadrajet with ABS in the month of Aug2010.

Pros, Good engine & mileage, good A/C, roomy interiors and boot.

Now when u look into the finer aspect as an owner u realise that you have been royally Duped.

Substandard body parts, very low quality rubber, The strangest thing what I have noticed is that the door glass curves in both directions, something which I have not been able to notice till date in other vehicles....Talk to the Tata company reps in Bangalore...they say it is design related, it is for aerodynamics....LOL. I would love to get this clarified. The end result....look closely ..ur door glass beading (which comes outside on the glass fixed on the door) curves in a very ugly fashion.

Well in a TRuck it hardly matters. The combination switch sucks- hard as a rock and rough finish. it even heats up when driving at night. It was replaced once. That is the reason many drivers of Manza experience the lights going off suddenly. It is best to have some tools handy as u drive a manza.

The fuel gauge in the tank also replaced twice.

The have a screwed up desigh of a body controlling module. This is what that controls ur door closing indicator, cabin lights, power windows. It is such a low quality product. has failed in many cars.

Noise in front suspension bushes

Body rattling and squeaking in 15k km

Dear users...Manza is a good car if you can live with complaints and have patience to keep rectifying it every time. I greatly appreciate the dealership and service guys of Tata Concorde motors Bangalore. They are truly gems to interact with.

Default Break Down of New Tata Manza car.

I own a TATA Manza car which was brought on 22 Feb 2010 from Prerana motors, Bangalore. On 28-05-2010, I along with family members with aged mother of 75 years was traveling to temple place which is near Jagalur. At 11-15 AM when the car was at about 45 KMPH speed suddenly the steering was tight, so we thought the tyre flattened. So car was parked to the left side of the road. Then tried to start the vehicle, but it did not respond. We immediately called the 24x7 service giving the location. By about 1-15 PM mechanics arrived & checked the car. They also inspected the road, which was a good road with no humps nearby. They towed the vehicle to Davangere which is 40 Km away. We reached Davangere by 2.30 PM. They said laptop was not charged and we were totally unaware of what is happening. After repeated enquiry by 6.30PM works manager told that Cam sensors are not sensing. Then it was reported that the cam shaft is broken. It was told that they require one month time to repair and car to be left in Davangere. I was really shocked, luckily nothing happened to me. Already our visit to temple was cancelled because of the break down to Tata Manza car. After so much frustration, I was shocked to hear that the engine has failed. It is like failure of heart of the car, luckily my heart didn’t fail.
I want to raise some issues. First during buying of the vehicle, I was disappointed, because after getting sanction of the loan on a single day, that to in a schedule Government bank. The amount was paid within 5 days by a demand draft. Dealer took 8 to 10 days, without color & satisfied selection of the vehicle. I was in a rush to buy the car because I had sold Tata indica car which was brought during March 2000. As a loyal customer to Tata (Indian vehicle) & even after bitter experience with Tata indica vehicle, I bought TATA Manza which had a huge & fake advertisement with a confidence of Tata to deliver a good vehicle. But engine has failed.I feel Whatever may be the things, other companies like Toyota, Ford, and Maruthi they accept the mistake & get back the vehicle of any numbers. I demand for a new vehicle

Default solution of leakge in the trunk

I own a tata manza and i faced the same problem. the leakage in my vehicle is because of a rubber not installed properly inside the trunck which is just behind the tail lamp behind. When i asked the service center to install the rear view sensor, they did install and the wire from the sensors are taken via the hole that carries the wire to the tail lamp. But there is a rubber that protects the water entering and it is insulated properly, but when these guys installed the sensor they pulled the sensor wires through this but didnt install the rubber which protects the water entering inside hence the water was entering and resulted in water in the trunk. Once i opened the lining and found the cause, i myself did install the rubber with the wire piercing in the rubber and it gave proper insulation. There is no problem with TATA but the problem is with these guys installing in the service station. They are lazy and make their job easy by taking away the rubber and pulling the wires naked. the result will be seen only during rainy season.

Thumbs down Tata manza - asl motors cheated

i booked tata Manza aura quadrajet silver over ohone to ASL motors jamshedpur and offered them 10000 rupees as booking amound, their sales person denied of taking the booking amount and said, if you are coming in next 2-3 days for delivery booking amount is not required. The sales person called me after 3 days to take the delivery of the vehicle, i travelled 400kms all the way to take the delivery, but to my shock the sales executive says that manza aura quadrajet silver is not in stock and will be given in next 7 days. I was a fool who travelled all the way 400kms to take the delivery.Later on i setteled down with a dew white of the same variant. But after PDI when i was handed over the vehicle i found broken pieces of glass lying under the rear seat. Have taken some pictures of the same for my case. After driving 700 kilometers the boot lock got faulty and did not lock atall, front shockers started making noise, dash board started vibrating, DIS got faulty, parking lights did not switch off after its on. I reported the comlaint to ASL motors Jamshedpur and they took the delivery of the vehicle in order to resolve the issues, only the boot lock was repaired and handed over to me. I am still facing the problems and feel i have been cheated by a faulty company with a faulty car. I demand Rs 100000 as compensation towards damages and mental harassment.

Default FIR against TATA GOLDRUSH LUCKNOW !

TODAY ON 29/JULY/2011 I WENT TO TATA GOLDRUSH SERVICE CENTER IF ISMIALGANJ[LUCKNOW]. THERE I MET Mr. VAJPAYEE WHO WAS ASSIGNED TO US BY SHOWROOM FOR HANDLING OUR COMPLAINT FOR MERE 6KMPL AVERAGE OF TATA MANZA. MY FATHER WHO IS 61 YRS OLD WAS ALSO WITH ME. THERE INSTEAD OF HANDLING OUR COMPLAINT, HE STARTED MISBEHAVING WITH MY FATHER AND STARTED ABUSING. I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO COME IN BETWEEN AND ASK HIM TO BEHAVE, ON THIS HE CALLED GUARDS AND WE WERE PUSHED AND HIT BY GAURDS AND Mr. VAJPAYEE. I HAD TO CALL POLICE BY DIALING 100. BUT EVERYONE FLED. THE GM Mr. SATISH RAI OF THAT SERVICE CENTER STARTED BLACKMAILING US THAT IF WE DO NOT CO-OPERATE OUR CAR WILL NEVER BE REPAIRED AND WE WILL HAVE TO FACE CONSEQUENCES. I HAVE LODGED FIR AGAINST THESE BULLIES IN LUCKNOW. MY CAR IS STILL GIVING AVERAGE OF 6KMPL, AND NO ONE FROM TATA IS LISTENING. I WANT TO RETURN MY CAR AND GET MY REFUND. IT IS ONLY 2 MONTHS OLD AND HAS RUN ONLY 2200 KM. HARASSMENT, PROVOCATION, GUANDA-GARDI, BULLYING AND BLACKMAILING ARE MY CHARGES AGAINST TATA GOLDRUSH LUCKNOW.

Sir,

Sorry to say & write in fashion to TATA MOTORS

I Ashok R Thakkar Owner of TATA Manja - reg. no. GJ 06 DG 9513. of Vadodara.

Inspite of being Owner of CAr I am with out car since 16th August 2011, in this very good moonsoon. Thanks to TATA MOTORS a Company & Miles Motors- Vadodara - Servoce Station.

As per Mr. Paresh, Mr. Nitin, Mr Arvind etc. the TATA MOTOR is not able provide the Spare Parts Required to Repair My CAR.

I had lodged the complain with call center on 27/08/2011 with Mr Avinash & again on 29/08/2011 with Reitika - vide Complain No. - 1-13451796123.

Sorry to say but till today I have not recd. any responce to my complain. nor I am getting any promising response from Miles Motors also. I feel they are also seems to be Help lees.

I am thinking to change my Choice from TATA & select some other car and should say TA TA to TATA.

If possible kindly take this as serious matter as in this 21st Century If you need 15-20 days time to provide Parts it is shamefull.

In short now i am comfortable with other vehicle - You can take as much time as you want.

DEAR SIR I HAD PURCHASED INDIGO MANZA ON 16th MAY 2010 AT THE TIME OF DILVERY THERE ARE SO MANY TECHNICAL PROBLEMS IN VEHICLE BUT ON THAT DAY IT WAS AKSHAY THRITIY SO DEALERS MANAGER REQUESTED ME TO BRING CAR AFTER SOME DAYS I WILL RECTIFY ALL THE PROBLEMS. END NO. OF TIMES I HADE VISITED TO THE SHOWROOM BUT THERE WAS NO RESPONSE FROM ANYBODY.I HAD VISITED DIRECT TO ACHAL GANDHI HE ASSURED ME THAT HE WILL LOOK AFTER THE VEHICLE PROBLEM I HAD LEFT MY CAR AT SERVICE CENTRE THEY CONSUMED 20 DAYS TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM AFTER DILVERY ONLY 25% PROBLEM HAVE BEEN SOLVED AGAIN I HAD LEFT MY CAR TO SERVICE THEY TAKE 25 DAYS AND SOLVED 75% PROBLEM AND AGAIN AND AGAIN ALL THE SUPER VISER ARE REQUESTING THAT PLEASE DONT TELL TO ,CALLS COMING FROM BOMBAY OR PUNE.
AT PRESNT YOUR GOOD DEALERS SUPER VISER THAT YOUR GUARRENTY PRERIOD IS OVER NOW WE ARE HELPLESS TO GIVE ANY SERVICES WITHOUT PAYMENT"PLEASE HELP ME REGARDING MY CAR PROBLEM ' HOPE YOU WILL REPLY
