I own a Tata Safari registration no. MH 02, AU 6608. There was problem with the clutch plate and I had asked J.P Auto World to replace the same with a new one. The replacement was done on 20th Jan 2010. The bill of approx. 17000 was sent to me which I have paid. However within 5 months the problem with clutch plate re-occurred. When I sen the car for re-check I was told the clutch plate has to be replaced with a new one. On my request why I should be doing that since I had changed a brand new clutch plate in Jan I was given a vague reply stating It was due to driving problem. I would like to inform to Tata and J.P Auto I'm driving the safari's for 8 years and other cars since 20 years.

The same part is available in the market for the price of Rs. 4500 when I informed J.P Auto that I would purchase the part from the market rather than paying 17000 again to J.P auto initially it was agreed by the owner of J.P Auto Mr. Praveen, however after two days I was told by one of the employees of J.P Auto that they cannot replace the part bought from the Market. As per the norms of TATA Motors. This clearly shows the owner of J.P Auto is not aware of the norms of TATA Motors.

When My door was replaced worth Rs. 22000 they could not fix the inner latch even after 3 attempts. Thereafter they informed me that it is a lock problem even after replacing the lock the problem still exists.

With the Above info I would like to inform J.P Auto is taking customers for granted. Also neither J.P Auto nor TATA motors are interested in handling the complaints which are addressed to them repeatedly.
m not interested in taking the car back as I would like them to replace the part free of cost and address the root cause properly rather then blaming my driving. Instead of doing this they have sent a email to me saying I should take back my car immediately or else I'm liable to pay Rs. 250 as parking charges.
