We wanted to own a Fiat 90hp diesel model.

Persuaded by the Fiat dealer to book the vehicle on 31st of Aug 2011 to avail the Fiat upgrade Offer ending by the same date, I booked a lower model to accommodate into my budget and avail the offer too.

Payment regarding booking done on 31st of Sep 2011 but confirmation of booking is for date 4th of Sep 2011 (payment records of the dealer can be cross checked for the discrepancy as the payment was made through debit card transaction).

As the confirmation of booking is for 4th of Sep 2011, we are told later that we are no more a part of the Fiat Upgrade Offer.

Dealer specifies “flaw in the working of Fiat India” as reason of ambiguities.

Dealer offers as a replacement: Seat covers, parking sensors (at additional payment of Rs. 3000/-) and Rs. 6500/- diesel vouchers.

Dealer provides: Seat covers and parking sensors (at additional payment of Rs. 3000/- without a receipt).

Current issue: Dealer is delaying delivery of Rs. 6500/- fuel vouchers.

Also, full payment of the vehicle made to the dealer by 27th of Sep 2011. Still, dealer charged Rs. 6000/- extra in the name of hiked registration fee which was actually hiked from 29th of Sep 2011.

We desired for Punto 90hp Diesel model. Due to ambiguities in lucky draw scheme, we ended up buying a Punto Emotion Diesel model, paid Rs. 9000/- extra and missed the opportunity to enter the lucky draw scheme anyways.
