I had purchased Innova G4 Model From Galaxy toyota dealer in 2006
bearing Chasis No MBJ11JV4007061308 & Engine No 2KD9754125. Since
purchase of the car it has been maintained by the dealer be it periodic
service or otherwise. During mid 2009 this car got toppled as such it
was repaired by same dealer with a hefty bill of over two lakhs.
Complete car was repainted as I was advised by Mr Dewan who was the
service adviser that part paint will not look good hence I fell pray to
it & rest is the history. At the time of delivery car looked good
& I also gave excellent rating. However my ordeal started within
month of taking the delivery, paint from number of places started
peeling off with every wash in the workshop, creaking sounds from all
over the body. Number of complaints & number of visits to the
workshop did not yield much results. In addition to above my car started
giving lot of smoke. Number of times car was sent to workshop, every
time they will clean the diesel tank change diesel filter & send
back the car. After forth or fifth trip they got new idea to say that
its Engine is weak, hence its Engine has to be overhauled. Not only that
to justify this they increased the meterage by 70000 in the
computer.There are no indication to suggest of weak Engine.Its pick up
in AC is good, it has no problem in hill driving. They have been trying
hit & trial method on my car. It shows poor quality of workmanship
& lack of technical knowledge. will some one investigate the matter please to find out from the dealer as to why customers are being taken for a ride or else I will go to the consumer court through our association ALL INDIA TOURIST TRANSPORTERS ASSOCIATION.
I am resubmitting the complaint since no action has been taken on my first complaint on the same issue even after having spoken to the complaint cell at chennai.
