My name is Virendra Thakur and I stay in Pune. Last month I had booked a Hyundai I-10 car 1.2L Kappa engine in my wife's name through your authorised dealer in Pune M/s. Kothari Hyundai Pvt. Ltd. Kharadi, Pune 411014. The name of the sales Executive who had interacted with me was Mr, Rahul Bhujbal. I paid him a booking amount of Rs. 10000/- wide cheque no. 182308 drawn in favor of M/S. Kothari Cars pvt. limited of Standard Chartered Bank. I also submitted all relevant documents for loan proposal to Mr. Deepak (another sales executive) and gave a cheque (no. 182309) of Rs. 1500/- as loan processing fees in favor of SBI in the last week of July 2010. Due to some query from CIBIL my loan could not get processed till date. I was totally depended for the finance approval for my car as I and my wife are salaried person. Since the loan was not getting approved I went to your authorised dealer on 25th August 2010 to cancel my booking and obtain a refund of the amount I paid. I handed over a letter stating that I wish to cancel my booking to Mr. Rahul Bhujbal who in turn went to the branch Manager to get it approved.

The branch Manager called me to understand the reason why I an cancelling the booking which I explained to him that since my loan is not getting approved I wish to cancel the same and obtain refund. To my utter disappointment he bluntly refused to pay me any amount and said the cancellation charges are Rs. 10000/- for the car.

IT was an horrifying experience to know how these agencies cheat you. The Sales executive promised me that your loan will be processed within 8 days from the date you submit your documents. I am being unnecessarily penalised for no fault of mine.

I sincerely request you to kindly intervene in this regard and help me in obtaining my refund.
