I would like to introduce myself Pratham patel belongs to gujarat.
I need your support & guideline to proceed further above in the matter of car purchase.

As I bought a new car Mahindra logan GLX 1.4 Play series before couple of week.
The price of the car incl all charges & leviables is 575979/- which is stated in loan agreement too.
As I was commited to avail 50000/- discount on purchase of this car before march2010.
I booked the car Logan GLX 1.4 Play model on 31st march 2010 by paying 15000/- booking ammount.
I have also signed the loan agreement on the same day for the fast approoval of loan about 490000/-.
The cost 575979/- confirmed by dealer & me & finally added to loan agreement.
The r.t.o & insurance ammount has to pay extra as R.T.O = 34000/- , Insurance = 18000/-
As the dealer told me to pay 110000/- as lum sum down payment. They told me that whatever may be the difference may setteled at the time of delievery.
As I booked the car on 31st march 2010 & got the possession on 09/05/2010.
The delievery was been delayed due to unavailability of the booked model.
When I was been handed over the Retail Invioce,Insurance Copy ,I amazed about it.
a. The ammount in the invoice was 525979/- instead of 575979/- that was decided & also stated in loan agreement. The insurance ammount & r.t.o tax should be paid as per the 575979/-
But they paid the r.t.o charges as per 525979/- & take the insurance of 525979/- .
The discount of 50000/- has to be given as cash discount. The dealer told me that we have provided the discount in invoice instead of cash so there is not necessary pay discount by cash.
By doing so they reduced all the charges of r.t.o & insurance premium. But they have taken down payment from me as per the calculation of 575979/-. I should avail refund of excess ammount of 12745/- as the difference in the taxes & insurance ammount. But they denied to refund at all. By diong so they also reduced the insured value of my car.if I got the accident I would get only 499000/- instead of the 575979/- that should be insured.
b. The model stated in invoice was Logan GLX 1.4 Which is lower model of GLX 1.4 Play .
Actually I have booked the GLX 1.4 Play model .Invoice is not stating the model I booked.
c. Insured deaclared value in the cover note of insurance was 499000/- instead of 575979/-
d. R.T.O charges was 27843/-

e. As per the ammout stated in the documents they given total payable ammount is
• 525979 = 00 invoice ammt
• 27843 = 00 r.t.o registration charges
• 16974 = 00 insuarnce premium
• 10200 = 00 advance EMI
• 5100 = 00 loan file charge
• 586096 = 00 Total Payable
f. The total ammount paid them is
• 490000 = 00 loan
• 108850 = 00 down payment incl of advance EMI & loan file charges
• 598850 = 00 Total Paid
g. As per the invioce & r.t.o,insurance charges they paid I should avail refund of excess ammount paid by me about 12754/-
h. Now they denied to refund . They told that the remaining money was been charged seperatly for handling charges + municiple taxes + CRTM. But as per the discussion at the time of loan agreement they comitted that the invoice ammount 575979/- would be incl of all.
As they told me that we have provided the 50000/- discount in invoice ammount [525979] & now they talking to charge seperatly for handling charges + municiple charges,so unfare.
By doing so they are not providing the actual discount of 50000=00.



To the conclusion I want to say that
• The Dealer has not given me the refundable ammount.
• By giving the discount in invoice price instead of cash they reduced my car’s insurance value.
• By reducing the invoice ammount they reduced my car’s resell value.
• They have not stated in invoice the model that I have booked & stated the lower model.
Also denied to make correction & told that we don’t think it is necessary.
We have doubt that they have sold the lower model & not provided the discount at all.
In short they cheated me.
• Even after a lot communication with customercare department of manufacturer, they are just regreted about that & telling we will try to hadle the situation & revert back soon with solution.
Plz give the suitable guideline to cope with the situation.
