I had booked for the car , in the month of December, wherein it was suggested that there was a 120 day waiting period Hence from Dec 14th 2010, we were under the impression that our car would be delivered by April 14th 2011. When we followed up on Aprill 2nd, Auto Hiteh denied that we had placed any booking with them at the first instant.. When we produced the receipt of the advance taken from us by them , against the booking of the car, they said that they would follow up on th same and revert. Hearing nothing from them, we approached the Maruti Co, itself. They confirmed that the Co had already alloted a car against our name in the month of Feb 2011 itself. This was stunning and shocking news for us.
When we went back to the Dealer, stating the same , he is not ready to give any proper explanation as to where the car is and if not present, whom it has been given to. Not that it matters a lot, but right now they are asking us to wait for few more months till they arrange another car for us.
This is simply disgusting, irritating and a very bad customer experience. I need a formal explanation as to why this happened and what measures is the company taking against this. I wish to register a formal complaint as the dealer Auto Hitech Pvt Ltd in Kolkata. Please advise.
