Dear Sir/Madam,
This is with ref. to the purchase of brand new Wagon R on 14th Oct., 2010 from Vipul Motors, Faridabad. Temp. No. of the vehicle is HR99 FP 9200.
The car went for it's first service on 18th Oct and was delivered on 19th Oct.
It was discovered on 20th Oct. that the coolant was empty and the report given by Vipul Motors was that the coolant pipe was in puncture condition and had to be replaced( Report was given by Mr.Sanjib of Vipul Motors, YMCA Chowk, Mathura Road, Fbd.). Would like to share the fact that we had travelled from Fbd. to Kota and back( Distance=1100 Kms. Approx.) after purchase of the vehicle, if the pipe would have been faulty then coolant would have been empty on the way and the car would have heated whereas it didn't happened, meaning that either someone had fiddled intentionaly with the car during service or it is a manufacturing defect. Please note that the above cited problem is a serious problem and threat to the safety of the occupants in the vehicle.
The response given by Vipul Motors is also very shocking, the executive told me that it will take 3-4 days for the car to get repaired since it is a new model and the spare parts are not in inventory. Would like to ask if the spare parts are not available then why did maruti launched the vehicle? If Vipul Motors has not got spare parts in stock then why are they dealers of Maruti Suzuki?
Also, would like to bring to your kind notice that yesterday (22nd Oct.) was my birthday and all our celebration plans came to a standstill just because we purchaed the vehicle well in advance so as we could celebrate with new vehicle. No one would have given me a better gift than Maruti.
Would also like to share that my father is a cardiac patient,is under medication right now and we are without a transport vehicle in case of emergency.
So, to summarise we have faced the following:
i. Breach of trust
ii. Monetary loss( spending since 3 days, per day Rs. 1100, on cab)
iii. Sentimental loss
iv. Physical harrasment
In view of the above, it has left a bitter taste in our life. So, would like you to please arrange to compensate the loss with a new vehicle.
Regards,
Shekhar Mehta
