This is to raise a complaint against your dealer Mohan Motors at Kolkata. Let me the facts as mentioned below:

1. I have booked one java brown E8 ABS Xylo with wallnut colour interior as promised by Saurav, the sales representative on 6/7/2010 with a booking amount of Rs 25000/-
2. It was promised that car will be delivered within 25 days
3. On 1st week of August I was informed that the car will be delivered after 20/08/2010
4. On 20/08/2010 I went to dealers godown near leather complex and found that the interior of the car is black.
5. I understand that the E8 java brown comes only with black interior whereas E4 is available in wallnut colour interior.
6. I immediately informed Mohan motors that the car is not in accordance with the specification mentioned during the booking hence I would not take the car. Saurav also asked me to cancel the booking
7. I also requested to cancel the booking and refund the entire booking amount with interest as it was a breach of trust
8. Mr Pritpal Singh, the Sales -in- charge informed that I can take other car with separate specification/colour for which I was not ready as I felt misguided by his team.
9. Today I went to collect the refund cheque and to my surprise, I found Rs 2000/= deducted from the booking money and a cheque of Rs 23000/ is handed over to me.
10. Today Mr Pritpal Singh also told me all discussions are verbal so there is no proof that we talked about wallnut interior.

I know form a esteemed organization of yours - such unprofessional, misleading selling efforts can not be encouraged. This is a eye opener for me as I never thought of bad business ethics from any of your associate.

Without any fault of mine, I was misguided and false promise, ill behaviour coupled with cancellation charges were thrust upon me. It is a pathetic experience for me.

I therefore request you to look into this matter. I am exploring the possibility of taking a xylo from another dealer but unless I get a satisfactory reply from your end, I am forced to defer my decision.

In this entire process, I know the price is enhanced, bank rate is increased and without any fault of mine, I need to incur additional price for that.

Can you please make sure that Mohan Motors become liable for all such loss and make a compensation for all such additional cost that I need to pay to acquire a new xylo?

Also expect you to take this issue with Mohan Motors so that no customer becomes a victim of their whims and fancies where the customer is victimised.
