I have been giving my WagonR to Patel Auto from the very first free service. My third free service was pending and so I had given my car this time also.I do want to state however that the car was working absolutely fine and the only reason for giving it for service was because the free service would otherwise expire.Igot a call from them telling me that the clutch and pressure plates would need replacement and it would come at a cost of around 8k. I asked them not to go ahead with this as it was beyond me that the wear and tear could be so extreme in a one year old car. However, after getting the car it did not feel the same and there was much strain on the car while accelerating esp on slopes. I got a after service call from them and updated the same. Unfortunately, my car stalled last night and it would not move at all when in gear.I had to arrange for a towing vehicle in the middle of the night. I spoke to Patel Auto regarding this today, i.e. 22nd Nov but they refused to come to my aid and even asked me to arrange for a tow and bring my car dowm to their service centre.I find this extremely ridiculous and my feeling is that there has been deliberate tampering to extract money out of a consumer.I dont know how much this complaint will help but I sincerey hope that it does as I have been greatly inconvenienced...
