    Thumbs down poor service at tata motors service centre, pathankot(CPL Motors)

    My wife's tata safari ,reg no HR 16 H4758 was admitted to CPL motors, Pathankot an authorised service centre after having met with an accident on 03 Jun 2010. She was attended by Mr Baldev Singh who assured that since the insurance firm, National Insurance has an affiliation with Tata Motors ,India hence contacting them would be done on the service centre's behalf. Paucity of time did not allow us to have a look at the progress but upon calling Mr Baldev Singh we were told about the progress of work. Initialy we were told that the car shall be ready by 05 Jun 2010.The date was postponed every time we called up.Finally when we decided to have a look at the car on 11 Jun 2010, we discovered that the repairs had not even begun,even the liasion with the insurance agency to start the job at their end (taking pics) had not been carried out.Need less to mention what a waste of time it has been and what severe inconvinience it has caused us wihout our car due the lackadassical attitude of the employes at the aforesaid service centre.

    We expect the matter to be taken seriously and action as deemed fit to be taken against the dealer/ staff at CPL motors ,Pathankot.

    Dear sir
    I hope this letter finds you in the best of spirits. I'm witting this letter to inform you that Tata Motors at Pathankot don't provide us with good service. It is for the first time that we purchased a car from Tata. Last week we went to Pathankot for some accessories. The staff members told us to come a day after. After 2 days we went to the show room. But they did not get the spare parts. The repairing was not done.Our time was uselessly wasted. We are not satisfied with the service of Tata motors. The members do not attend the customers properly. Hope you take an action against it.

    Dear sir,
    I hope this message finds you in the best of spirit. I'm sending you this message to lodge a complain against CPL motors, Pathankot.Last Saturday that is on 2nd,April,2011 I went to CPL motors to get my brakes checked as they were giving some problem. There was no staff. The attendant Mr Rishikesh Das wrote a letter saying that they do not have time and asked me to come a day after just to get the brakes checked. I had to leave Pathankot and reach Chandigarh for my son's exam. On the way to Chandigarh I was saved twice from accident. Yesterday, I went again to CPL motors to get my brakes checked. The break leathers were 90% damaged in 5000 kms. This is for the first time I've experienced that the break leathers go after running 5000 kms.
    The customers are unfortunately not treated well. The head of the Tata Motors Mr Sandeep Kapoor who looks after CPL motors works at Pathankot on behalf of tata motors was also contacted by me. He assured me that when you visit the CPL motors again, for your fault in your manza car, you'll be looked after properly and your work would be done satisfactorily as your vehicle is under guarantee period.I was shocked to hear from them that we can't give you the claim of break leathers as it is not in our warranty. Secondly, I also got my front mirror changed under my insurance. Instead of charging Rs 500 which mandatory, they charged Rs 1500 from me by saying that the depreciation would me made on it.At last I had to get my break leathers from the market.
    As I've a bad impression of the tata's company along with their dealers and it is my sincere advice to the people not to buy tata vehicles as they don't have the manners to treat their clients and are not capable for moving their clients difficulties and faults of their vehicles. They are left on their own to get it repaired from the market and to pay handsome sum of money to them for a little work. I'm having the Tata Manza car vide registration number HP 47 3751. You can check it from your CPL motors.

    Default Tata Motors Very poor service

    I have purchase TATA indigo eCS last month. Till then I have facing lot issue in this car. First week i have found back power window is working . I went to service station after argument they change window motor .After 15 days tyre was blast on highway . They reject to change tyre I have purchase new tyre 4000 INR. After 20 days I was facing starting problem when I have send my car to TATA service center . they inform me after 4 days( when I call them ) there is wiring problem due to mansoon /rat cut the cables ( I think poor wire) they ask 2000 rs to change and send starter to Lucas . after 15 days I didn't got any response Tata Service Center Worli Mumbai. Whenever I call them they told me they are waiting starter from Lucas. I m realy frusted from Tata Service very poor . I can’t recommend any one to go Tata's car.
