Default Brand new Santro-GLX bought 6 months ago

Hi ,

Purchased in Jan 2010
I have probelm with my Santro. We have driven just 2200Kms in 6months.. only 1 service is over .

We had purchased from a reputed dealer-Advaith Hundai.

1. Gear Box problem- The first probelm we faced in May 2010 was the gear box when we start the car it automatically goes to second gear.. which was a manufacturing defect.. the company had agreed to it and had replaced the gear box

2. When the car is started there is some noise from the car.

Being a new car we are frustrated and our loan amount is going in vain.. without using the car..

The dealers are not responsibe and take their own sweet time to solve the problem ..they never give deadlines of when the car wil be delivered after the problem is solved

Half the time our car is in Advaith service center.

Default problem with fuel efficiency

Respected Sir/Madam,
This is to inform you that i have purchased i10-SPORTZ on 17th January,2010, from Advaith Hyundai,Bangalore. I have driven aprox 3000 KM and two services has been done. But i have noticed my car mileage is just 10KM per Litre. Its shocking because now a days, i am regularly watching the TV & newspaper ads that i10 have won most mileage award and stuff. After viewing these, I really wonder if it’s true or is it that Hyundai is all set to cheat people. I rode my vehicle to the service manager. He scanned the car’s microprocessor and made me believe that everything is fine and he also said that mileage will improve after my car crosses 5000kms. I don’t believe he said that! So, acc to him I’ve to keep rolling my car 2000 more kms and ignite my money to make my car fuel efficient! Sounds extremely scurvy. Is this all i10 customers do to pull up their car’s mileage? Instead I tried almost everything posted on sites to improve the efficiency but it’s all in vain. I totally love my car and love it’s power and performance on roads…but it’s only the mileage that disgusted me in selecting this vehicle request you kindly to do something and make it work. Do reply the query. Please oblige.
