    Default Quality complaints and worst response to customers by SKODA-INDIA.

    Dear Sir/ Madam,

    I am Vinay.D.C acting on behalf of D.S Chandrasheka(#44/181, Vinayaka krupa, Jaynagar 3rd Cross, Karnataka, Shimoga-577201) own a Skoda Laura( Laurin and Klement with automatic transmission) in the name of company M/S Shanthala spherocast Pvt.Ltd and the registration number is KA -14 M-4500.

    Car is 2 years and 6 months old.
    I had some issues with the door latch and the air conditioning system of the car. Though the car is out of warranty,( Warranty period- 2 years) company agreed to repair air conditioning system of the car for free of cost.
    But the company has burdened me with the cost of service. Also the door latch of the car has failed with no reason. I had formally requested the company to consider the same as it has done for th AC system.

    But the company rejected for my request for free replacement of door latch with no good reason. And the company is not giving back the money that has been paid for the service. Please note that it has coasted around IRS 16000 for me.

    I have contacted on this issue with Skoda head office(Czech Republic), neither the Head office nor Skoda- India is replying for my E-mails or for my phone calls. I have tried to contact the company through the customer helpline , all the executives there don't care about my complaints and just throw all the issues to dustbin as soon as i disconnect the call. I personally feel the company knows these issues but its trying to avoid me.

    Am really fed up with the company and its service towards the customer. This issue is pending from past 1 month or so. These kind of issues are frustrating and annoying for a customer.

    Please take the necessary actions and guide me how to go through this hardship.

    Hoping for justice as a customer and fighting for customer rights.

    WITH REF TO ABOVE WE HAVE PURCHASED CAR FROM LUDHIANA FROM M/S KRISHNA AUTO SALES,
    AFTER SOME TIME IT GOT ACCIDENT IN OCT 2009 AFTER 10033KMS ( ACCIDENTAL LOSS IS FROM FRONT RIGHT WHEEL AND REAR LEFT WHEEL)
    , AND WE SEND THE CAR TO KRISHNA AUTO SALES FOR REPAIR THEY MAKE HUGE BILL AND CHANGE ALL THE PARTS REQUIRED
    BY THEM INCLUDING HUB BEARINGS ALSO,AND AFTER REPAIR WE ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH THE REPAIR AND WE SEND CAR BACK
    SO MANY TIMES WHICH YOU MAY CHECK FROM THEIR RECORD AS NOW THEY ARE NOT GIVING RECORD TO ME WHEN I DEMAND FROM THEM AND IN THE
    LAST IN LAST WE SEND THE CAR IN DEC 2009 ,AND IN THE JOB CARD WE CLEARLY MENTIONED THAT REAR WHEEL NOT
    LOOK STRAIGHT BUT THEY PEOPLE SAYS THAT IT IS ALLRIGHT AFTER 12580 KMS ,SO THEY TELL ME YOU TAKE THE JOB CARD COPY IN WHICH
    IT IS MENTIONED THAT REAR WHEEL IS NOT STRAIGHT AND IF YOU RECEIVE ANY COMPLAINT REGARDING THE SAME THEY
    WILL REPAIR IT FREE OF COST AS NOW YOU HAVE MENTIONED IN JOB CARD ,

    NOW WE AGAIN RECEIVE COMPLAINT IN THE REAR WHEEL REGARDING NOICE COMING FROM THERE AND ON 04TH APRIL 2011 I SEND
    THE CAR TO KRISHNA AUTO AND THEY TOLD ME THAT BEARING AGAIN HAVE TO CHANGE FOR BOTH WHEELS AT 28243 KMS AT CHARGABLE
    COST ,FOR THIS WE HAVE COMPLAINT ON TOLL FREE NO 1800 102 6464 TO MISS MONIKA VIDE COMPLAINT NO 111007651 ON 6TH APRIL
    2 TIMES BUT NO ACTION TAKEN TILL NOW

    SO WHEN WE ARE WRITING IN JOB CARD THAT IT IS NOT THEN HOW WE CAN PAY IF COMPLAINT AGAIN CAME FOR SAME PROBLEM
    SO PLS CHECK THE MATTER AND LET US KNOW WHAT WE SHOUL DO NOW AS WE ARE REALLY GOT DISAPPOINTED FROM ALL THIS,

    MIND AND TAKE PAJERO 3 MONTHS BACK ,MORE OVER I SUGGEST TO CALL SOME OF COUSTOMERS OF SKODA IN LUDHIANA AND TAKE FEED BACK

    Thumbs down Complaint for Fabia A.C

    Dear Sir/Madam

    This is to request you that since starting I have been facing way to much problem in my car Fabia A.C. I have given it for service many a times but could not see any effective results.

    After 3 years of Skoda Fabia experience I have discovered that there is some internal problem in all the old Fabia A.C. So please look after this problem seriously. People like me face a lot problems in summers and becomes difficult for us to drive.

    Default Worst car in the world... Skoda fabia

    Dear Sir / Madam,

    (Car RC book issue and Car Service issue in CHENNAI GURUDEV MOTORS)

    We have purchased Skoda Fabia (TN22 BR 4477) from you on 22.12.2010. After numerous follow-ups, we got our RC book papers after 2 months and that too with a wrong address mentioned. When enquiring for the same, we came to know that GURUDEV MOTORS have done like this to get the above number. Later we understood, that the company have done like this for so many vehicles.

    This is real forgery and against law

    Now in turn I am following up for my correct addressed RC book since than and I have not got any revert from SKODA team.

    This is to inform that we have planned to go for a legal case against GURUDEV MOTORS.

    People we interact with :
    Mr. Pragadeeshwar
    Mr. Niranjan

    Both of your above mentioned staffs dragged us with no solution till now.

    Apart from the above mentioned point is Car Service

    We have the following issues in our car, which was not resolved or attended even once from day 1..

    1. We get 6 KMPL mileages in our petrol car.
    2. No pickup
    3. Car sounds like a diesel vehicle.
    4. Heavy vibration in the car while driving in 1st and 2nd gear.
    5. Car break is not proper
    6. Cigar light point is not working
    7. Radio switching off and on by itself while driving

    Kindly help us..

    Thumbs down Skoda Fabia Manual Door lock

    Dear Mr. Srinivas Sudhir,

    Per your email below, I am till date awaiting to receive your complete feedback on the related matter. Till then I consider the said matter as open and unresolved.

    Not too much of my surprise, I did get a call from the Autobahn workshop again stating that post the below complaint and after inspecting my car, they are of the conclusion that the defect in the manual door lock is an operational defect and not a manufacturing defect. That goes without saying that the workshop in that case would want me to shell the money if at all I intend to get the same repaired. The first time I lodged a complaint in Feb 2011 also I had driven my car to the workshop and the response that I got from them that time was the car lock needs to be replaced at the cost of the customer. Again in May 2011 when I further escalated the same matter, again I drove my car to the workshop and this time too after so called investigation again I just get a phone call (again this time the matter was not formally closed the way I have been taking it ahead with the Skoda team) from the Autobahn workshop stating that it’s not a manufacturing defect and needs to be replaced at my cost. Wonder what value addition was done after a much unwarranted wait of more than 5 months for getting this issue resolved. I may not be a technically smart person (in the field of cars) but as a layman I wonder how can a car lock get damaged by its usage (whose usage is just restricted to locking and unlocking of the door). I again reiterate the fact if Skoda really uses genuine parts in manufacturing its automobiles. The day is not to far when all of a sudden one fine day the rear view mirror falls down or the glass of the car doors just crackle down and you can safely state that it was a handling error and not a manufacturing error. If locks were so easily damaged just by usage I guess by now the lock companies would be the most flourishing business ever as the number of locks used in the world (no matter it’s for house, lockers, cars etc) are multifold then the number of automobiles. So it’s easy to push the buck on the consumer that it was a handling error and not a manufacturing defect (as you are aware that the Consumer are not mechanical smart person and that they can be easily fooled). Moreso it's all the more worry if Skoda door locks are of so cheap quality that by mere genuine usage of the door lock it gets , so forget the overall security of the car. Anybody can fiddle around with the locks of Skoda car and rob the same (as your workshop has quoted that the lock got damaged by usage).

    If I have to run down the history of my car since the time of purchase I have never delayed spending money when there has been a handling damage. Once my car erroneously bumped into my parking lot and it got damaged. I can understand that it was a usage damage and not a manufacturing defect and hence undoubtedly I got the same repaired/replaced. I have genuinely attended and spend money to all the issues of Fabia immediately when they were of genuine nature. This is the first time I am living with this issue (lock damage) for the last 5 months not because I can’t affort to spend the money on its repair but I seriously understand that I am getting duped by the Workshop by making me spend money for some manufacturing defect of Skoda cars. I definitely can’t buy this argument that the lock damage is on account of usage and not manufacturing defect for the following reasons (i) Lock is basically an internal device and has very minimal human intervention (ii) It’s the most important part of the car as if there are such defects the basic security of your car is at stake (iii) Car lock defects is an uncommon factor and happens not even in one in thousand cases. Had this issue been a usage defect than the number of lock damage cases would have been more than the other car repair work.

    Fortunately Skoda Fabia is not the only car that I own. The other car that I have or have used so far for the last 6 years have never given such issues (especially manual car lock which can make any automobile manufacturer laugh on the fact that it gets damaged by usage) is far excellent in its auto parts, after sales service, replacement/repair of defects and moreover building and growing customer relations through satisfaction of existing customers grievances.

    Not very sure whether this matter will ever get resolved to my benefit. But I am convinced beyond doubt why the car buyers (in my office, my friend circle etc) comment openly that Skoda cars are good in looks but looks are temporary and not the buying aspect of car….the qualities of a good car (Six sigma qualities) are missing in Skoda car and after sales is a Big Concern!!! Now it’s too late for me to cash on these advices as I have ended up owning one but definitely I have joined the gang to spread similar messages and this time as an experienced SKODA CAR OWNER.

    I sincerely hope the Senior team in Skoda India and SKODA abroad get alerted well ahead of time with the seriousness of the growing customer issues and dip in Skoda Sales all over.

    dear sir, i wish to inform that i am a proud owner of skoda octavia in new delhi, since my service was due so i gave my car for servicing at JAI AUTO(A-38,MOHAN COOPERATIVE INDUSTRIAL ESTATE MATHURA ROAD NEW DELHI) UNFORTUNATELY a problem occured at jai auto after their driver tookthe car from our place now snce we are claiming for the damage which had occured from our end but nothing is been done.
    i had discussed wih MR.MUZAFFAR KHAN (SERVICE ADVISOR, JAI AUTO) about this mishappening but he is ignoring the matter in a very arrogant manner, wich is not acceptable by any customer.
    so kindly look into this matter and i am waiting for your reply at your earliest.

    thist is mahendra kumar v. we have purchased a skoda yeti last year november the engine no. is clc004883 and the chassis no. is tmbmdks5l7aa700212 as i complained in bangalore service station about my cars ac is not working from 15 days they told that the ac compressor is not working as they guided me that they have ordered the compressor and still i have not received the compressor so plaese see to that i receive the compressor soon as i am feeling uncomfort...
