To Whom So Ever It May Concern

Sir/Madam,

I have bought new Hyundai Getz in the month of May'2007, as I remember it was my sister birthday and we celebrated gifting this car to her.

As the months passed, some kind of bubbles started popping up on the surface of one of the rear doors, and when we approached our service dealer during due period it was been told to us that there is nothing to worry, it is just color which has surfaced due to humidity. We shall take care on the next service.

It just happened when I was not able to attend another service as per the contract it was left unattended.

In this period, some other bubbles surfaced on others doors too. It was just too worrying for me as I have never seen this kind happened to my earlier car and neither other cars do have such complaints.

As the time passed, my contract period got over. I went for AMC with the same dealer, but the result was same nobody shown any concern to attend or look over this problem.

As year passed, my concern for the bubbles surfacing on every door, prompt me to raise a question with the service dealer during my paid up service. I was surprised rather shocked to know they were rusting as told by service man and after servicing of my car, may be while polishing bubbles broke and now the rusting part is easily visible.

When I asked them to repair the same, now they ask me to go for change of entire door!!!!! This will cost me around Rs. 7000 approx for each door to replace.

I seek help here, when we bought it was all new vehicle and has hardly run any kilometer (17000 KM) till date, how come a vehicle can rust in months time after being taking so much care.

I feel cheated here, with the quality of material used to manufacture this particular car. How we as a consumer can evaluate when we put our hard earned money for a rusted car thinking of having one of the best car.

Hope I will have positive response to this concern.

Thanks
Prem Soni
