We had a Car breakdown on our recent trip to Goa on 27th January 2012 i.e Friday . Since there was no way the car could have been restored, we were forced to shift our Car to nearest Tata Authorised dealer at Madgao i.e Auto Industries.
- On preliminary investigation , the feedback we have received is that there was an defect with the Oil filter, which resulted in the seizure of the engine.
- Thus the service centre had been repeatedly trying to get the approval for the replacement of the relevant spares under warranty as the same is still covered under warranty period.
- However inspite of repeated follow ups we have still received the same reply as the approval is awaited from the relevant higher authorities at Tata Motors.
- We would have expected a prompt customer service from a co like Tata Motors. However that is not the case in this instance. You would appreciate that been a Mumbai resident , we had to leave our car at Goa and take the undue trouble. Now after repeated follow ups with the service centre , it is still to receive the approval for replacement. This is causing undue delay and trouble to us.
- Already around 10 working days have passed without any progress on the issue. The repairing of the car has not even started.
- We would request you to take the necessary steps at the earliest to avoid any further delay in this regards. Any further delay from here on would force us to take up this issue with the consumer courts for relevant compensation.
You are once again requested to resolve this issue at the earliest , thus avoiding any undue events.
