    Angry Tata Nano Cancellation Refund

    Hi,


    I have booked a Tata Nano basic version last year. But, I have cancelled that in the month of December and submitted the required documents in February

    1st week. I was told that I would be receiving money in 45 days. Now, it is closing on 4 months and I still did not receive the money. I might have called more than 20 times to the customer care. For some reason they say the same thing every time “Your cancellation is under process”.


    I seriously do not understand what this process is and when is it going to end. If I ask them any more details, they simply say that it is not our department. I am familiar with almost all of your customer care employees now. I suppose this is not what you meant when you said ” Tata Nano – People’s car”. I have utmost respect for your company and the vision it has. The process of booking might be well scrutinized, but a company of such a status should give some respect to the people who are cancelling.I have a whole 95,000 stuck with them all these days.



    Now the customer care employees have started dodging my calls. But one thing i liked about the tata motors customer care is, they keep their word. They always say ’ It is still under process’.

    Red face Tata Nano Cancellation Refund

    I have booked a Tata Nano Lx Bs3 version last year. But, I have cancelled that 24th march and submitted the required documents

    I was told that I would be receiving money in 45 days. Now, it is closing on 3 months and I still did not receive the money. I might have called more than 100 times to the customer care. For some reason they say the same thing every time “Your cancellation is under process”.

    I seriously do not understand what this process is and when is it going to end. If I ask them any more details, they simply say that it is not our department. I am familiar with almost all of your customer care employees now. I suppose this is not what you meant when you said ” Tata Nano – People’s car”. I have utmost respect for your company and the vision it has. The process of booking might be well scrutinized, but a company of such a status should give some respect to the people who are cancelling.I have a whole 1,40,000/- stuck with them all these days.

    Default immediate refund on compessionate grounds

    Dear Sir, it is due to my extreme need of sum for medical treatment and allied urgent needs that i wish to cancel m booking of NANO car booked vide booking No. 112560505.
    i shall feel obliged if a cheque of the full amount along with interest is sent at the earliest.
    it is being told that cost incurred for making the booking and the deposit of advance will be borne by the consumer. i do not see if any cost of any kind is to be given by a probable buyer.

    Angry non refund of tata nano cancellation amount

    I had booked TATA nano car in the initial offer, and alloted the car under UIN---112742161. I applied for cancellation of the car on 29 mar 2010. Though promised that the refund will be given in 45 days, the amount has not reached me so far. The reasons given by the call centre are same and familiar to all--- 'it is under process,-- 'the cheque has been returned undelivered '--- 'your complint is forwarded to the concerned section'----' compliants sent on e-mail also give the same reply-- forwarded to the concerned branch'.
    I am surprised that Mr RATAN TATA, person leading tha TATA group and projected as a clean and simple person, with clean public dealings, is not aware what is being done in his name.
    Mr Ratan Tata need to give reply to the consumers for delay in refunding the booking amount.

    Id no 110671788 cancellation no eenjo 46371 dt 26 03 2010 till date i have not received back my money. Call centre not responding and always says it is on progress. Please help regards a s dhandayutham

    I request you to state that due to personal financial problems, I have cancelled the full booked for tata-nano on 06-05-2010. From that day onwards, I am requesting the concerned people and the call centre too for refund of money. On 19-8-2010, I was asked to submit my bank numbers with IFSC code etc., which I have given on the same day. I did not receive my money till today. I pray you to kindly refund my money at the earliest as I am paying 18% interest on the same amount.

    Unhappy tata nano cancellation money recevied

    i had booked the nano when they launched in 2009june,that time their executive is followed us like anything to make me book the nano.But when i cancelled in 2010 august, they took the cancellation letter and told me the refund will available within 45days.but on today's date4/1/11 their is no reply from them not even they are picking the phone.if i asked in the customer care i will publish in the reputed newspaper they are telling let you do what you can.I had apseted with their way of talking, finally, i came to knew," if we go to deal with any reputed well known company we have think lot to do the deal before.I had the good impression with the name of tata,as well as Mr.RATANTATA, after i visited the site my impression was wrong.Hope if it reached to any highier authority of tata, my humble request is don't spoil your organaisation's name.Without public support any company whether it is tata or ambani anybody cant come up please keep it on your mind. We public can do anything,don't treat as a stupid.

    Angry Tata Nano - Fortune Cars Nerul - Chetaing Customers

    I regret going for the brand TATA.

    I tried my best cancelling by Tata Nano which I had booked by paying 1,40,000 Online. unique identification number 220003208

    I tried my best writing by mail to customer care, the dealer n number of mails to cancel the same.

    They convinced that if I cancel then I will lose the interest on the money that I had paid while booking + Cancellation Charges + Cancellation charges of Dealer + Insurance. and also that I will have to pay as per new price if I do not make the payment.

    When I paid in July 10 and told that I would take the delivery between Oct 10 - Dec 10 as initially mentioned during booking and not before that. When I went for my delivery they had even done the insurance of the card dated July which should have been covered under dealers insurance.

    Fortune Cars Nerul has brought misfortune.

    When I followed up for interest I had to run from pillar to post and conveyed that I am among the first 1 lakh customers so I cannot claim the interest. I had asked them to prove that I am among the first 1 lakh when I booked and not that I am among the 1 lakh by virtue of cancellation.

    ALL MY EFFORTS HAVE GONE IN VAIN.

    Even the dates mentione have changed in the below emntioned mail from them which was Oct 10 to Dec 10.

    Subject: Your Tata Nano booking has been allotted!Financer: Congratulations! Mrs TRUPTIBEN SHAHThis has refrence to your booking for the “Tata Nano” vide unique identification number 220003208. We are pleased to inform you that you have been allotted a Tata NANO LX –BS 3 – SUNSHINE YELLOW. Your delivery will be done between July 2010 to September 2010 through FORTUNE CARS, NAVI MUMBAI Kindly contact the dealership for any further assistance and quote your unique identification number for any correspondence with us, as well as the dealership.In case of the TATA NANO booking amount has been financed by the preffered Financer, you are requested to immediately contact your financer to convert the booking amount in to auto loan.     Can anybody suggest to which Forum I can raise the complain to get the interest amount?
