We booked a high end Polo 1.6 from Trivandrum, Kerala and had to wait more than 6 months to get delivery of the vehicle and finally we got the vehicle in January 2011 (KL-01-BA-6262). We used the car for around one month and unfortunately we met up with an accident. That was in March 2011 and its been over 6 months since the accident took place and still the car is in the workshop.

We have suffered ridicules from all those who have known us because we thought we took a right decision in taking Volkswagen. Considering that a customer has to wait 6 months for repair work, it reflects on the overall image of Volkswagen. And also we haven’t been given a stand-by car considering this long waiting period. It is a shame on the new entrants. If Volkswagen says Polo is made to be rugged enough for Indian roads, this is an example of how unprepared they are in handling issues. I admit the car was good but the after sales support is terrible.
