Hi,

There seems to be an ongoing trend of cheating new customers wishing to buy a new Hero Honda two wheeler in Bangalore.
I had visited Srichandu Motors to look for a bike in the 150 CC and above category. I was told that I must buy the accessories from them without which they won't sell the bike.
I do not understand how they are accessories if they are mandatory!!!
Most of the showrooms in Bangalore are doing this.
If one tries to argue, they do not pay any heed and say that it is their "company policy".
I spoke to Malcolm Marshall from Srichandu Motors who said brazenly that they are not supposed to sell the vehicle without the accessories. The accessories they provide are like helmet, seat cover, etc. which can be obtained at much cheaper prices outside and one might not need or already have them.

Customers are being taken for a ride here (pun intended).

Is there anyway that we can stop them or take this up with the authorities?
