I, Mukesh Gupta, have taken a delivery of Honda Aviator for enhancing my LIC business from Kaithal Tractors, Ambala Road, Kaithal(Hry.) on 19.10.2010 through his sub-dealer Bansal-Bajaj, Narwana Distt. Jind. From the first day, its self start was not working. In reply, I was told that when it came into running, its battery get charged and it would work normally. but it did not work evenafter a long week.
Then I complaint about it to Mr. Rakesh Bansal, Sub-Dealer of Bansal Bajaj Narwana on 25.10.2010. He assured me that this defective battery will be replaced within a week. After a week, on 01.11.2010, I was told that battery was short and not available even in the open market and may be replaced within next week. In the meantime, I have also complaint Mr. Rakesh, Dealer of Kaithal Tractors, Kaithal about this problem and he also gave me a one week assurance.
On the next week, when I visited Bansal-Bajaj, Narwana, the same statement was iterated by Mr. Rakesh Bansal. Then I asked him to give me the receipt slip of defective battery that I had deposited to him on 25.10.2010 for replacement then he said that he would go to Kaithal Tractors personally on 17.11.2010 and would bring with him either the new battery or the receipt slip of that defective battery.
On that date, a call has come to me from the battery maker area sales manager that your battery would be replaced on 19.11.2010. But the same story has happened. Then I phoned that Area Sales Manager of Exide Battery and remind his committment then he requested me to wait for 2 days. After 2 days, I lodged my complaint to Mr. Raj Shekhar a representative of Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (Pvt.) Ltd. Gurgaon on 22.11.2010 and he also assured me that his battery will be replaced soon.
After a long wait of more than one month, I am filing my complaint to Consumer Forum. In this horrible period, I get mentally harrassed & my LIC Business is also get affected badly. After facing so many problems I want that their license to sell the two-wheelers may be siezed so that no customer like me suffer any more.
