This is with reference to the Hero Honda 2-wheeler service station of Sri Venkateswara Motors, Narayanaguda. There are thieves at the said service station and the parts of your vehicle are stolen, old parts are retained, new parts are charged without replacing the old usable parts. That is my experience twice here. I purchased my Passion Plus Bike at the above store room in 2005. Just six months ago, I gave my bike for complete servicing believing the manufacturer's claim that the vehicles should be serviced at authorised service centre only. They put down a bill for Rs. 1800.00 and said that they changed the entire 'clutch box' which I promptly paid and took delivery there of. In two days, I experienced the previous problems of the old clutch box again and went to the service station, who said that it is a routine problem and did some thing, believing them I did not question their morality. Again after one month I went to them as the problem was persisting and they asked for the bill which I did not keep as I never suspected them. The mechanic made some rectification and said it was minor. This time another problem cropped up and they told me that the battery should be replaced, believing their words I bought a new battery from their stores which they said that they replaced. Recently after about 6 months of the above servicing, I gave the bike for servicing at another Hero Honda Service Station of another dealer through one of my cousins. This time I waited at the service station till the entire servicing was over. The mechanic told me the clutch box was never replaced and if the same was replaced it would work for at least 25000 kms. Daily I travel about 30 kms and in 180 days I might have travelled about 5400 kms. So, it is a fact that the clutch box was never replaced. Secondly, I went to a battery shop and got the battery replaced and the person in charge after looking at the previous battery told me that it was manufactured in 2007. Therefore, on both the counts, the authorised service station deceived me. My cousin also told me that he was deceived at the same station in a similar manner. Therefore, it appears that this authorised service station got crooks as mechanics and they are doing mischief by charging customers for new parts which they never replace and the customers lose not only money, but the problem persists. Therefore, the manufacturer and the police may conduct raids at this service station and take immediate corrective action so that public are not cheated in this manner.
