some unknown ebike producers came and disappeared quickly.i waited for 3 years to get a reliable and expertised in two wheeler segment TVS marketed SCOOTY TEENZ.i bought for Rs.34000 on june-2010.my preference to ebike is ONLY to cut my petrol bill.i feel hard to pay Rs.600/pm for petrol sake TVS assured batter's life as 150-300 times recharge cycle.i believed that.that means 45 kms/charge and total possible coverage of travel by a battery may around .7000-12,000 kms.battery cost mentioned as Rs.6000.so i pleased to get it as cost 50 -80 paise/km during may-2010 battery showed some problems.but TVS dealer concealed battery failure and offered replacing battery charger.. but i demanded clear picture of existing problem.i complaint to TVS by email.TVS promised to look into it.but did nothing.after nearly 3 months i tested battery's status.such facility not available with TVS AUTHORISED DEALER.TESTING exposed battery's dead.yes,7000 kms---what TVS showed as minimum life of a battery , really the MAXIMUM.now TVS demand Rs.10,000 for anew battery..forcing the customer to make buy by telling false promises,finally showing the real face of EXPLOITATION I AM not an elite indian to spare Rs.10,000 as petrol cost in one stroke.please ask TVS to taken back their e product from me with cost and compensation.i think e means ,electrical,econamical and eco-friendly where as TVS put one more as "EXPLOITATION''....
