Recently I had a very bitter experience with SVS motors 7, Redhills Road, Ambattur. (TVS Dealer) near Rakki Theatre.
I purchased a Teens Electric bike from SVS Motors, Ambattur Estate.
Regn. No TN 20 BW 3229. On 1 - 4 – 2009
Recently battery is not charging. So I gave it for service on 17-7-2010 to SVS Motors Ambattur. At that time they said ‘We will give delivery on 19-7-2010.’
When I went there on 19-7-2010 they replied they will give it the next day. After that
I visited and enquired every alternate day.
They gave the same reply ‘will be given the next day’.
In the mean time I send mails to ‘TVS Corporate’< response @ tvsmotors.in >
So far they have also not given any reply.
In the last visit on 6-8-2010, when I asked strictly about return of the bike they said
‘it is a failure model. The company have stopped production and hence no battery adapter is available.
I said ‘without battery no use of the vehicle’. Because it is a manufacturing defect all the loss for me is to be borne by you. Let me exchange the bike for PEP OR STREAKS.
They have not replied so far.
So I decided to approach consumer court for wasting my time and for my suffering.
