I am chandan saha. I fought a case against Indian Railways in Kolkata - II district forum. The basis was that I purchased two tickets in Rajdhani Express well in advance but did not find berth ultimately because of withdrawal of coach.This was wothout any intrimation from railway. I fought the case for two years in district forum where it was ordered to compensate me the air fare that I incurred to complete my journey. Railway appealed in state forum and lost finally. Now a possibility looms that they may approach National Forum in which case I would have to go to New Delhi to defend. This would entail a lot of cost.

My question is " Can I enhance my claim at this stage to cover the additional costs incurred in this process, and would be incurred if I am to face National Forum?".
