I am from Vaishali Ghaziabad. I approched the agent for my new passport as I was not aware of the procedure of getting a new passport. He said the he will charge Rs.2500 of each passport so I paid Rs.5000 for 2 passports for me and my son.My husband paid this amount on 12th sep.(sunday) and on monday we came to know that we have to go abroad on 2nd october so we need to get the passport made under tatkaal scheme. I went back to the agent on monday and informed him about the situation and collected my documents and form on the same day and my sons form within 3-4 days as he himself said that we need to go to passport office if we want our passports under tatkaal scheme(form and notery filled by the agent)
he never bothered to return our money ans since then my husband is chasing him for the money anf finally yesterday he said the he will only return the passport fee which was Rs.1000 for each passport as rest of the money was for processing. But he never was involved in the processing of our passports as it was under tatkaal scheme.

I feel cheated but do not have any proof of this.

pls. advice if something can be done.
