Dear Sir,

I had bought a 5in1 sofa using my credit card through Telebrands. This product failed on the very first day. I stay at Pune and sent my wife to Mumbai personally to the Telebrands Office to return the product. I am enclosing all the correspondences below and also a reply that I have got from Telebrands after much effort which too is not substantiated by their actions. I have also during the relentless efforts to make contact with Telebrands, seen that there are many dissatisfied people who have put their faith in this company for which are being punished. I may request you, if your authority permits, to blacklist and ban any kind of promotional activity and all the businesses of Telebrands.

Dear Sirs,

I, Samir Dayal, resident of 17/460 Anamika, Baner Road, Sind Society, Aundh, Pune-411 007, had over a month back placed my order for the 5in1 Sofa Bed as advertised by you on television. I had paid the amount of Rs.5694.00 through my ICICI credit Card and the Order Confirmation Number was 1768964. This product was delivered to me on 23.04.2010. I followed the instructions on given on your instruction leaflet which was enclosed with the product and inflated the 5in1 Sofa Bed and kept it overnight for more than 8 hours without using it. However next day when my daughters sat on the sofa bed the air started coming out. I tried to find for any leakages of air but could not trace it out. I again inflated the product and again within a few minutes it got deflated. I tried calling up your 022-40989529 number on 24.04.2010 to log in my complaint but was not able to get through. Finally at around 10.55 pm I managed to speak to one of your executives on 022-40989500, to whom I gave all the particulars. He, after having listened to me told me to call up 022-40989529 or call up on Monday i.e. 26.04.2010.

I may mention that I am very disappointed as the product which is advertised on television seems to have passed through some very stringent tests and usage parameters, but the product I got failed immediately after it was bought to use.

I am willing to return this product back to you and request you to refund me the money. I am willing to bear the postage charges.

Please refer below mentioned mail, whereby I had made a complaint to you regarding the 5in1 Sofa bed that was received by me. I have since then not received any feedback from you and have neither received the refund nor the replacement.

I request your kind attention in this regards and request you to do the needful.

Dear Sirs,

It is disheartening to see that a company such as yours, which has its presence on most of the popular media channels does not respond and address the complaints of your customers. I may say that it was indeed a big mistake to have dealt with Telebrands for you seem to be oblivious to the woes of your customers and supporters.

My first mail was sent to you on the 25th May 2010 regarding the faulty 5in1 sofa bed that was received by me. This product was returned back to you the details of which are mentioned in my below attached mail. It has been over 1 month now and I am regularly calling uop at your Telebrands Customer Care number to which the only answer I get is that this product is not in stock and will be delivered to you shortly.

You people have never bothered to write to me and as I see, are still advertising this product on Television without it being in stock. I must say that you are taking innocent customers for a ride as you do not have this product and are simply playing with the sentiments of the customers.

If you do not have this product why don't you simply refund my money or you will simply take refuge in the adage silence is golden and let the customers go to hell.

I expect your prompt reply and furthermore full refund of my money or the product fully tested within a weeks time as I have no more time to waste on a Company such as yours.

Frankly speaking I have lost full confidence in the product as it is nothing that is advertised on television. The product didnt last for a single day and it is quite a hassle dealing with you. I must have called your 40989529 number more than 10-15 times, mostly it keeps coming engaged and when I finally get through your executives just keep giving false assurances. I am not sure that the product you promise to send me will last long enough to recover my moneys worth.
