Big Bazaar complaint

    Default Big Bazaar complaint

    On 28th May'2010(7:16 pm) my wife purchased the item of Rs.499.50 from the Big Bazaar, Bagha Jatin' kolkata with her debit card(RRN. 014813462002). But we found there was another transaction(POS purchase) taken place of Rs.948.30 from her account with the same debit card for some other bill(RRN.014813520409) in the same day.

    When we went back to that Big Bazaar and checked the merchant copy, we found the second bill was not even signed properly(just one circle drawn instead of the full sign). However, though we have explained and requested again and again,but they refused to cooperate.
    I really didn't understand how is it possible to make two transaction with one debit card, where as they swapped the card once and it has been signed by the proper person(my wife) once. They didn’t want to accept this neither as a technical fault nor their own fault and they started blaming us, which is a big harassment and insulting. Also they started arguing that - its not the responsibility of the cashier to check the signature of the debit card with the merchant copy (which is against the banking law).
    So, I complain against the Big Bazaar, Bagha Jatin'Kolkata and the cashier (Somenath Paul) as it was his duty to verify the signature of merchant copy as well as maintain the proper responsibility of a cashier.
    There has been an illegal monitory withdrawal from our account, for which I seek your cooperation. Can any one help me please.

    the first thing that you could have done was to report the matter to your bank and then ask them to clarify the charge back procedure. since the charge slip is not signed by your wife she is not liable to pay for the same.

    Wink Gas Likage

    We have purchased a prestige 4 burner gas stove on june 23rd in Big Bazaar,Aurangabad .
    We used for the very first time on June 26th only.
    When we started using it,we burnt only the 1st burner but the 3rd burner started burning and the flames started to spread the whole stove.
    The same case happened when we burnt the 2nd burner too.
    When we raised the complaint to Big Bazaar,they carelessly tells that its not their fault and they are only dealers and they cant responsibilty of the condition of any items displayed there in the showroom though we have 1 year warranty.
    When we tried calling Prestige group,they irresponsibly answered that they will try and cant sure of helping.
    Gas Likege , No body attended complant from big bazar & service centre .

    Default Big Bazaar - Not satisfied with the Service and Fake Discounts

    At Big Bazaar, I made a purchase of Rs. 2301 (Home Needs) on 07 Dec 2011 to get 10% discount on grocery's that I purchased for Rs. 2959. But this offer was not provided to me.
    Also the Customer Service at the store is not taking any action to help the customer in this regard.
    In the bill counter, cashiers are not even aware of this offers and also to guide the customers correctly to get their offer.
    So I feel like the offer is only provided in newspapers not in the stores.

    Default Big Bazaars Arrogant Employees

    Its an Incident of Sunday dec 18,2011 when I went to watch movie at Metro Junction Big bazaar at Kalyan at 9 am show.
    A guy calling himself Sudhir Kadam (I don't believe) as a gate keeper and few of his companions abuse me and my cousin with such a bad words that I cannot mention.
    They have no fear of what they were doing with a customer and was telling me that they have a local mafia support named DABANG ( stupid ).None of them wearing their IDs but wearing big bazaars blue attire.One who has Id hide it while entering into quarrel(vinayak I guess).
    When I try to take pic they try to beat me as other guards were just enjoying the scene. I prefer to make sure a future group manager(HR) people know this as this incident made me very disappointed that in future I and my relatives won't be visiting such a place where a company don't care about their customer and make sure my well wisher should know this to avoid such places.

    I appreciate a callback from Branch Manager of Big Bazaar kalyan but no further information has been given.
    I haven't yet informed about the action taken. I consider it as a lenient behavior of higher authority against their rude employee.

    Default Billing and Expriy food items

    Hi I am PREKSHA frm VISAKHAPATNAM...Today evening On 11/1/12 i have been to BIG BAZAR...i was buying some goods from there and in the food court found that there are few food items which were already Expierd...befre few day when i have been there i have complaint to the manager and still they did not take any action... later i went for the billing purpose and there after the billing i just checked the whole bill and could find that they have taken extra money from us and did not provide us the discount which was on the product..i showed the bill and the offer which which was valid on the product but they were not ready to give the money back nor they were ready to take the product ...when we tired to seek help from them they were not ready to help us there and said that we are ready to give you some gifts instead of the money back when we were not read to do that ..they were not ready to help us and the staff over there started arguing with me and my mom and started speaking rudely to us and in a high tone...later we went down to the customer service and explained the whole matter then after an hour we had had to give the product back and then they returned our money back to us...we told them that we will complain about the rude behaviour and about the food product which were of expiry date even the manger of the food court agreed that they were some products which were of expiry date we told them that we are gonna complain in the consumer service they were like please speak to the manager of the big bazaar but we directly moved from there ...and have told you all this as i wanna take a strict action on them as quickly as possible...thank you

    Hi, I am Pooja from Mulund, Mumbai. I had purchased 1 kilo mangoes along with a lot of other goodies at Big Bazaar, Mulund, Future Group. Me and my husband have been suffering from high fever, loose motions, and vomiting ever since we had those mangoes. They looked extremely yum and edible, ofcourse oversized. They were not at all rotten...! But, our vomits stand testimony to those almost poisonous mangoes, since those vomits only consisted of Aamras!

    I would want a future group executive to look into the matter at the earliest.

    Default BIG BAZAR..Charging Extra price on MRP while billing

    Hi All,
    I used to purchase around 10K from BIG bazar every month.. But it was very alarming to find that While BILLING, the rates charged/billed were extra from MRP or the price mentioned while purchasing the product. It happened to to me multiple times, but came to know only when i purchased 2-3 items. For E.G: While Purchasing a Toy, MRP was 700, but Big Bazar price mentioned there was 630( even confirmed by seller there in that section). But to a surpise when i billed that product, the toy was billed for 670. i dont know how...But when i shouted at the billing agent there, they took the toy and confirmed again to the department. Then They billed the toy with 670 and again took 10-15 mins to refund back the 40Rs. This happened not only Once but 3-4 times.

    Please Take seroius action or please tell what to do?

    Hello Priya,
    This Happened to Multiple Times with Big BAZAR, KATRIGUPPE Branch, Banshankri, Bangalore. Which Transaction details shall i give, i dont know keep them..But If u want request to see the camera footage if u capture while billing... It is happened on 19th may 2012...as well earliar 1-2 times.. Actually i used to shop Blindly there without any issues from past 3-4 years every month for all my home needs but it was a Big surprise in BIG BAZAR, How you Cheat people.
