I am a resident of Dehradun. I had a long time plan to gift my younger brother, who is a huge fan of adidas, a jacket as a gift from my first salary. I went to some of its showrooms in Dehradun but since there was no discount and the jackets were expensive I explored some of the good shops here who keep a stock of adidas. There is this BIG FANCY STORE in Dehradun, in which I found a jacket of adidas worth Rs. 2499. As it was reasonable enough and liked by my brother so I bought it without confirming the bill which I now found out is not the usual bill they make.
After 1 month my brother found some problem with the chain of the jacket, so we went to enquire for the same. Initially they blamed us for not seeing the chain before buying, then they claimed it was not from their shop, but then when I called the person who sold us, he mistakenly recognised us and the owner had to accept that the product is from their shop. They however did not help us in getting it corrected. We anyhow went to Adidas showroom to enquire about the product and to register the fault. They reognized the duplicacy, as it was a XXL, made in China( should have been either hongkong or veitnam) , the hood was of Extreme brand!!.. the chain was also not original.Duplicacy in cheap stalls is understood and difficult to control, I accept. But people selling branded clothes at same prices, and then disrespecting the customer is not justifiable. I have also registered a complaint in adidas but i would like you to interfere in this matter, my support in this case will always be there. thankyou if you control this duplicacy and help people stay unfooled.
