I had purchased a cotton T-shirt of US-POLO Arvind brand (Tag no usts0781 200829) from M/s Kakarai Inc, shop No. 10-1-38,T B road, opp. Kotak Mahindra bank, Waltair uplands, Visakhapatnam-530003 on 05-10-2011 for an amount of Rs 1399.

On the second washing itself the fabric lost its color and texture. When I approached the shop keeper, he refused to exchange the T-shirt or refund the amount.

Unfortunately I have misplaced the bill. I had paid the amount through my ICICI bank debit card. I produced the bank statement copy where in the bill amount is shown as debited to my account on the purchase date. But this was not accepted in evidence and he insists on the bill. He is also refusing to verify from his shop records. I am the aggrieved party due to product quality deficiency.

Please advice action in the matter
