I have placed an order for IFB 2liter Microwave machine (Product Code 58136) on 20.07.2010 for cash payment on delivery, I asked for the other mode of payment and informed that I am ready for that, but they confirmed that cash on delivery is ok with them. I received confirmation by sms within few minutes and Order No was given as 900018247 and confirmed that delivery will be given within 7-8 working days. I waited according to that upto 03.08.2010.
Then called on 03.08.2010 again, talked with customer care person, who informed me due to limited stock the delivery is delayed, he placed an oder for urgent delivery and given me another no. 60093139, and told that within that week (saturday, 07.08.2010) that product will be delivered.
I waited again, and after no intimation called them back on 08.08.2010, talked with Shift manager, Mr Narinder, who informed me that my order has been cancelled because of delay, though I have not been informed about cancellation at all. Then he said because of my 'cash on delivery' mode of payment they have cancelled my order. I said that I am ready to change my mode of payment, but he didn't change it. Instead he said he will inform me tomorrow by 11.30 am.
I got very upset with that irresponsible act and said it is not done, they have no right to cancel my order without my permission and ask for the delivery as soon as possible.
