Today 30.08.2010 I have purchased one bed with mattress from M/s. Modfurn, Behala Showroom, salesman Mr. Kuntal Ghosh. Morning I told them that my mother 73 years old had a hip fracture operation will be released from Nursing Home today evening and therefore we need a single bed for her, but subject to your timely delivery and good things.
They agreed and accordingly I made part payment and balance against delivery. they supposed deliver it before 4 pm, could not come, I repeatedly phoning them and told that I have an urgency please deliver it, they came around 5:30 pm and could not arrange the bed with wrong mattress, as it is not fitting in the bed! mean time my mother discharge from nursing home, we were helpless and lied her on that bed which is bit uncomfortable. Now after chasing them, they may change the mattress. now my question is this who will take responsibility to remove her from bed as she has got restriction to move as she had fixed her hip with steel rod. While going to change the mattress will they arrange medical assistance? I need solution for this why they have supplied wrong mattress after knowing my serious problem. I need compensation for it. Also I have not paid balance payment to them, they should arrange changing of mattress without disturbing my sick mother, and she should not be damaged further for their any process.
