Hope you are fine and find this complaint in best of your spirits.
I purchased two jeans for Rs. 3060 from this showroom on 15th Jan 2012 and gave it for alteration assuming alteration will be done as per quality standards.
I collected the jeans from the showroom today i.e. 16th Jan 2012. To my shock, both jeans were altered in a very bad manner, like alteration is done for a normal trouser. When I tried to show my dissatisfaction to the owner of showroom, I was told this is the normal process and we have been doing this way from a long time. If you wanted to get it done in some other manner, you should have told us in advance. I am wondering do I need to explain to the tailor how a jeans is altered?
I requested owner to take the material back and return my money but he refused. When I said I will complaint against you in the consumer court, he laughed at me.
It is quite disappointing and frustrating to know that after spending my hard earned time & money, I am not in a position to wear both jeans. I feel I have been cheated and my sensible behavior is not being appreciated by the retailer.
The reason I write this complaint is to:
• Communicate my dissatisfaction and ignorance from retailer/owner
• To elicit your thoughts and a response from you on this issue
• That you raise/ re-direct this issue at relevant levels and take immediate action, as you deem appropriate
I am hoping you will give due consideration to my complaint and will take it up at relevant level. Looking forward for an encouraging response from your end on the elevated concerns.
I am having both jeans and bill/receipt for your reference, if required.
