Classic example of poor customer service and causing inconvenience....
Myself Jayant N Tilekar, ( Kotak Flexi Plan II,) visit the Hyderabad branch in White House, Begumpet for renewal of my policy on 10/07/2010,
I am very much disappointed with the service extended on renewal as I could only come on a Saturdays and we too work and unable to come physically on week days for such renewals.
I was surprised that there was minimum effort done to help me. Despite a simple cheaque could have been taken from me and receipt mailed, could have avoided my another visit. The office was open, however there was no representative to attend to my renewal of policy.
The representative told me that all employee have gone for training and nobody from that dept is available. I agree to such move however, there could be a back up for one person to attend to such request especially if it is working day for you. I was asked to come another time.
I also understand there are other ways of paying the premium, however all are not comfortable with other options, as in my case.
Expect you take note of the poor customer service
