My name is Varadarajan Iyer and I'm from Mumbai but presently based in Hyderabad.On 8th of June'2010,I recieved a call from Datawise Consultants,Delhi that I've been selected for an interview with Kohler India Corporation,Jhagadia,Bharuch,Gujarat for Stores Manager as my resume had been shortlisted.
After 2 interviews were given by me on 10th June'2010 along with a written test,I asked for my reimbursement claims which they had agreed earlier.I was told that the reimbursements would be directly done to my bank account for which I needed to give all my banking account details which i readily gave them as well.Normally,interview related reimbursements are always done immediately and in cash but Kohler India had adopted the policy of reimbursements through banking.I agreed on the same and I was also told that within 15 days the amount would be credited to my account.The reimbursible amount was only Rs.2400/- for which I had also attached supporting documents like travel receipts etc before filing my claim.Then on the 25th of June when no credit had been done to my account,I called Mr.Zavin Mehta from HRD who initially told me that it would require another 15 days for the credit to happen.After some exchange of words,he told me that it would be done as soon as possible.On 27th,when i called to check on the status,they told me that the e-transaction was already done on 26th and I can expect the credit latest by 28th June.Today is 30th June and even after repeated calls to them,no concerned person is willing to give an update as to why the credit has not been done.Mr.Zavin Mehta being a HRD person has been most cooperative but Mr.Dharmesh from finance dept who is the concerned person out here has not been responding to my calls and when called on his mobile,some other person handles the call.So much for being a multinational company.A meagre amount of Rs.2400/- has not been settled so far and they seem to have no concerns over problems faced by candidates like me.It's disgusting to say the least,I'm also a working corporate professional,it's embrassing for me to note that i chose to gave an interview to an company which is downright unprofessional and has no sense of corporate ethics.I'm lucky not to have been selected for this company at least.
Sir,i request you to kindly help me reclaim my reimbursement from the organization as early as possible.
