a lot people have cheated at mauli petrolium,murkute vast,pune situated in baner road,pune . Incident happened lot of times when we went fill petrol they fill less petrol and then show meter reading as 500 etc. This incident took place today morning when i told him fill full tank petrol .the guy filling the petrol was waiting to make his move when i stopped paying attention and i turned my back to sit in car he stp filling and i saw the reading was rs 1000 but the guy swiped my card for rs 1900.when i saw the slip ,i refused to sign.i told him the reading but he said the meter might have tripped so rs 1900 is the charge.but when i shouted at him , he then returned rs 400 but still he did not gave rs500 to me.he said that there is some mistake in the meter.but i want to do complaint against them because i heard they have made this a practice.especially they do this with lady customers. They do it in regular bases and cheat lot of consumers coming there. Some strong action shd be taken to stop this practice.

On Sunday, 29th Aug, I went to HP Petrol Pump@Baner Road. I opened my car's fuel tank cover and came outside. I told him to fill Rs. 500 pertol.

There were two men. I noticed that he had removed my tank cover completely and not like door opening. I was asking him what happened? he said in rainy season, this happens.
Suddenly I noticed that, other man started filling pertol without showing me zero reset. When I saw, it was Rs. 288 filled already.

I realized that, I was cheated by them. When I took avg, it was only 5 KM/Hr against my regular of 15 Km/Hr. It means that they have filled only Rs. 250 petrol against Rs. 500/-. What to do now???

I amm resident of baner and used to fill petrol from Mauli petrol pump. It seems everytime for me that they fill lesser petrol then other petrol pumps becoz when I fill petrol from other petrol pump for rs 150 it drives me for 100 KM but petrol from that pump always drive me upto 75 to 80 km.
Even they have cheated me 2 times by asking you lot many thinkgs and change the meter reading by changing your attension.
Is there any way I can complain about this petrol pump so that action would be taken against them?

I caught them red handed and shouted so they refunded rs 100 but how many guys catch them. They have made it a habit and only 1% customer of all they cheat they never bother to stop. In fact they threatened me and asked me to leave when I tried to say that they are cheating.

IS THERE NO STOPPING TO THIS?????

This happened to me 3 times. Somehow they manage to take your attention away from the meter. There are few tricks used by them.
Someone comes and asks for PUC
Someone comes or asks for additive oil
Someone comes to sell some vehicle cleaning liquid
And mainly the salesman itself invest you in talking or asks for less or more petrol.

I always had this suspicion while filling petrol here, but reading thorough above my suspicion is confirmed. if I ask for 200 ltr petrol the guy will suggest to fill for Rs. 210 so that it becomes 4 lts. this silly and unexpected converstion diverts my attention and i dont know if the filling started at 0 or 50 or 100. what is the solution for baner residents?

On 23rd July 2010, i got my car tank filled from Baner petrol pump. They have swiped my card twice for Rs.1800. I realised this only when i checked my bank statement around 10 days later. since they got only one slip signed for the transaction, I had no reason to doubt them. They are big cheaters and there have been lot of complaints against them I think BP should take strict action against them.
