    Exclamation TATA MOTORS / TATA MANZA AURA ABS(Quadrajet)

    This is with reference to the vehicle purchased from Tata Motors Chandigarh on 31-03-10, vehicle registration no. is CH01AC2843.
    After the first free service from Hind Motors Mohali, an unpleasant sound started coming from the dashboard, which was shown first to Joshi Auto zone Pvt. Lmt. On 13-06-10, in a free check up camp in which they tried tightening a few bolts and the bonnet but no improvement was observed.
    Then the same problem was addressed to Hind Motor Mohali on second free service on 23-06-10, this time they tried tightening the Tie rod (way above the permissible limits which is not recommended) still no improvement was observed in the dashboard noise. Instead a new problem related to steering in which a loud noise comes when we steer it right from the front right wheel.
    On third service on 15-09-10 again the same problems were reported to Hind Motor Mohali but the problems were still not solved, by this time I also complained to the Tata customer care.
    On 11-12-10 I specially gave my vehicle to Hind Motor Mohali for the same still to no avail, I have no idea what they do keeping my vehicle for the whole day (I am not allowed to even see my vehicle).
    On 01-01-2011 there developed a crack on the front windscreen from the lower right side (from inside the panel) propagating towards the center. On showing it to the Hind Motors Mohali they agreed it’s not accidental and took photographs and send it to warranty replacement, but the request was denied saying windscreen is not covered under warranty.
    They tried tightening the bonnet, tie rods and opening the Dashboard that might have triggered the crack in the windscreen.
    The dashboard sound, the steering or the suspension problem should be dealt with, and most importantly the wind screen should be replaced by Hind Motors Mohali as there was no accidental damage which they too agreed upon and forwarded the case for warranty replacement instead its a mistake on there part.
    This has been a very bad experience for me as it’s the first TATA car I purchased.
    Please help me guide me how should I take this matter forward with TATA motors.

    Exclamation problem of average and ur negligence

    I had purchased a tata manza DL2CM 8024 on 20 th nov,2010 It gives so many problems from the day of purchase. The first day of purchase its lefts side rear door lock was not properly working, It has been checked after three months, when i called them so many times to ur Wazirpur Industrialist area showroom manager and PRO Head Ms. Rachna but they neglect my call. Next time when i gave my car for first service they checked it in three times. Recently Its giving the problem of average. The average of my car go down to 7.4kmpl I am calling the showroom manager and PRO head several times more than three months but they dont take it seriously and satisfactory response to my problem.earlier I also complained on net but dont get satsfactory result .Its my last request to u to cure my problem either to check the car fully or replace the car or give the sufficient amount . Otherwise i have to complaint on Consumer Forum.

    Default Tata Maza New Aura Safire

    I booked Manza New Aura Safire on 19th March 2011 thro. Concorde Motors, Mysore Road, Bangalore. I paid the initial advance amount on the same day and as the car was expected to bedelivered by the end of the Month concorde motors advised me to pay the ful amunt ofthe car by 31st march 2011 and avail a further discount of Rs. 10000/- . I promptly paid the balance amount personally na d thro. SBI bank loan. To my dismay the car was not delivered on 31st March 2011. When contacted Concorde motors initially said they would deliver by first week of April 2011. When even that comitment failed I awrote a series of mails to their Md withot any reply. On 22nd April a reresentative of Concorde motors contacted me statting that the car is now available but asked me to pay further hiked amount.When I protested they told they will give some discount. I refused to accept the car unless delivered at the full consideration already paid by me on 31st March 2011. I have filed my complaint with the consumer forum of Bangalore and hoping to get justice.

    If this kind of apprach by Dealer would have been in USA by now the dealerwould have given the car free to the customer. We are in India and it will take some time before the right justice is done.

    I will appreciate If anybody can clarify which Govt. Authorities of Karnataka/ India can be approached so that in future consumers are not cheated by the car dealers.
